Never clicked that fast on a notification. I discovered Ironstrange thanks to Infinity War. I loved both of them before, and that wink just made my shipper heart start. I've been reading so much fics about these two, that a special Fic Rec Friday would be perfect !! In my opinion they are similar in some way, but also both deeply insecure. I think they would totally understand eachother.

Still such a great ship. (Ship it a lot since IW) Among my OTPs, Strange and Tony compliment each other so well. Both men of science, devoted to their thoughts and despite Tony being his snarky self at the beginning, they both ended up caring a lot about each other. Besides Strange canonly winks at Tony, what else could I ask for? Well, I must also mention I loved how Strange called him 'Tony' at the end of IW.

IronStrange is my OTP! Stephen and Tony are my favorite characters and heros. The moment they started interacting I knew I was going to ship it. It was confirmed when they starting insulting each other... and that happened very fast ! 😂

I came into mcu fandom pretty late, so iron strange was actually my first mcu ship! I think my favourite headcanon is probably the one where stephen falls in love with tony after seeing millions of futures (cause we only needed one timeline to fall in love with tony stark --- can you imagine how stephen feels?)

I am a Tony/happiness shipper, and that is very prevalent in IronStrange, so yeah, it good. Also lots of Team Iron Man stuff, which I also like and again, tends to make Tony happy. WRT Endgame, I'm taking the same stance I have with Ianto from Torchwood - intense denial. I live in fix-it fics, and for all future MCU films, Tony's just at home, doing something else, probably retired from being Iron Man due to injuries from the stones. Totally Not Dead.

The direct moment when I shipped them was when they were on the ship with Peter and they stated to argue. 2) I will still ship it after endgame, a death or in an irreversible coma in a ship has never stopped me from shipping it. There was a good moment in endgame where strange held up his finger to tony signifying that this is the timeline where they win, I loved the non-verbal communication as it showed their chemistry. i have an idea for a fic where after the events of endgame, strange is lonely and misses tony and goes through the different timelines to find him, this of course containing timeline shenanigans. I put my idea out there because i am no where good enough to write something like that.

Let's face it Tony is the ultimate bicycle. I understand the IronStrgnge allure though never read any of it myself. My favorite Tony's ship are Stony, FrostIron, WinterIron and the OTP3 Bucky/Tony/Loki.

A bit off topic, but can I just say that when trailers for Thor Ragnarok came out, and I saw that Strange would be featured in it, I thought that a Strange/Loki ship would start emerging, and I was READY. Me and my friends were preparing, talking about how their magic and arrogance and snark would be great together. But then obviously the Strange feature was only a cameo, and that ship never really happened. Even though I ship Loki/Tony too, so from that you’d think I’d immediately jump to IronStrange as a second option, I completely forgot about the possibility of IronStrange until after Infinity War, and honestly I’m glad I got this instead of Loki/Strange. Especially as an MCU version of superfamily with Peter. It’s amazing how much development the two got in such a short space of time.

I hate and love that I ship this immensely amongst many other Tony ships. Ironstrange is stealing my heart😭

I'm love these two snarking at each other and I enjoy the posts because they are really funny but I wouldn't say I ship them. I love Tony but I don't really care for Strange, I don't have something against him, I'm just not the biggest fan. I always feel like something would be missing in that realationship on the long run with them being so simmular there is nothing there to balance that out. So while I definitely see the appeal in this ship and occasionally like to read something about them I don't ship them actively.

Tony Stark was being paternal towards Peter Parker on screen (and they had some very fun interactions in interviews as well) and Benedict Cumberbatch was sent to babysit Tom Holland aka Spoiler-man so that he would not give out any secrets :D. Spidey just fits well into a combo with the Awesome facial hair bros :D. (Someone has to guard him from all the Mackie ribbing :D). I am not really an IronStrange shipper, but I tend to sail through random ships depending on mood (what's the ship name for Sam and Bucky?), so the Fic Recs would be great~~

I remember the time when I shipped these two, I was in a bus ride and saw infinity war playing on the bus TV, In the scene I saw them extremely close to each other, and I said, F*ck They look hot together.

I've had OTPs before, but Ironstrange and Strangefamily are becoming obsession. I found a couple of pics pre Infinity War, but that was when obsession struck. One of the things that I particularly love in this pairing is that there is a bit of darkness around them that comes out in a shared ruthlessness when dealing with the big picture - and as some seriously kinky goings on in the bedroom. Yay IronStrange!!! I'm young-ish (under 18) so I didn't really get into the MCU fandom until Civil War. Didn't ship much at first, but had a couple over time. Then when I saw Infinity War, I totally latched onto IronStrange and the Supreme family(I think part of the reason I accepted it so quickly was because I had no other ships with Tony at the time). After a while I fell out of the MCU fandom, but after Endgame I'm back in and enjoying all my ships, including IronStrange+Spiderson!

I discovered IronStrange on accident and the fanart I found was too funny to ignore. I jumped on board the ship for a while but didn't find any fics that really clicked with me. I'm a multishipper but Endgame killed any love I had for IronStrange. Stephen went full Dumbledore with keeping Tony alive so he could die at the proper moment. :/ There's just something so cold and calculating about that. I compare it with my love for Stony which was alive and well in this movie, and they've hurt each other in the past but you can still feel their love for each other (which is canon). This movie really hit home that Tony and Stephen really are strangers and there's no canon relationship of any kind between them, and there was nothing any shipper goggles or rose-tinted glasses could do to make me ignore that. Rest in peace IronStrange ship, it was nice knowing you. ;-;

1. Firstly that is a excellent question: WHY DID HE WINKED AT HIM !? 😱 that's like THE golden scene for the shipping fandom. 2. I do know about IronStrange fandom and I kinda saw it happening in Infinity War. I like it as a shipping thing but I'm still not into it that much. I do like IronStrange pics and vids but I haven't read any of the fanfics. I think I see them more like ScienceBros. I mean that they are more like snarky friends and facial hair bros than lovers. 3. I think I would've ship them and they would become my OTP IF they wasn't Stony. My OTP has been so long the same and that's where I always go back. I tried once or twice to read other fics (like FrostIron or WinterIron) but I still loved Stony fics more. 4. Also I really really love Superfamily fics and gifs and pics and everything there is SO turn that to Superfamily 2.0 is kinda hard thing for me to imagine. 5. To conclude everything; I like IronStrange ship BUT I do not ship it myself. P.s. SPOILER WARNING: I'm still a wreck after Endgame but I'm super hyped for the next Spiderman movie 😍

IronStrange was my favorite thing after Infinity War simply cause they had some good banter together and with other characters like Peter. And AUs where Tony and Strange meet after Tony and Steve get divorced are my FAVORITE THING.

Hmmm.... I think I started shipping ironstrange around civil war time when I saw this fanart on Tumblr and I was like "0.0 this is a thing?? This actually is surprisingly good" then I used a lot of ironstrange tags, and it was pretty good stuff, then when infinity war came out, there was SO MUCH ironstrange content. My inner shipper's crops were truly watered (and we got the Stucky hug so that was nice..... and then endgame happened and crushed stucky to the ground....) but anyways, after infinity war there was SO MUCH and it was honestly amazing, ironstrange and superfamily 2.0 is some pretty good shit, and I have to say in the immediate aftermath of infinity war, I probably was looking at more ironstrange stuff than stucky (which had been my top ship for years) and stony (which isn't my top ship but is still pretty good) ironstrange is honestly really good and I find them to be really compatible and good together.... but we all know what the best ship is.... DOCTOR STRANGE X CLOAK
