As directed by Fred Williamson, the film is bullet-proof against any kind of criticism; not for one second is it meant to be taken seriously but just as fun seeing four great cinema presences stride across the screen.

I can't believe that they didn't make more movies together. They're all Icons representing a genre that was still popular in the very early 1980s. I'm sure those films would have been very successful.

Gary, Indiana’s own Fred (The Hammer) Williamson, was my generations John Wayne. Most his projects were low budget action films, but he was that hero you don’t see today. The team up of Richard Roundtree, Jim Kelly, and the great Jim Brown was a great idea. But the story didn’t deliver the thrill of other bigger budget flicks of the day.
