Once I learned how to use a kneaded eraser, effectively, it was the biggest improvement to my sketches. Its one of those tools you don't really think much about but it can really change your drawing process.

I love playing with mine, shaping it into tiny sculptures.

The yellow coloured ones are my favourite. You can easily tell how much dirt it gotten. I don't like the grey ones because the graphite camouflage so it's hard to tell when to throw or not.

Well it must be pretty useful if its literally a NEEDED eraser :D

If you don't have a kneaded eraser and don't want to wipe away the "poops" by hand, you can also use some sort of cosmetic brushes. It's nice and soft and doesn't smudge. That's what I've always done.

For those saying it's just like blu-tack well it's not and why is that? Firstly the texture kneaded erasers is a bit fuzzy when stretched too much, much like a kenetic sand with glue and is less sticky and thinner. Where to buy these erasers?? It's actually common in art supplies shops, some office and bookstores may have them too (that is if they have an art section). Some online stores have them too.

I put them in a small container so they can't get dirty

I make them at my school I cut the eraser in very tiny bits and make x them together then I roll them with a crayon until it's soft and stretchy

This is what my friends and I used to do!!!! In class, cutting erasers in thin pieces and rolling it with 📏 and smashing it with hand, we used to make it just like this Although mine never became this stretchy anyway!!!!

You can Make a kneaded eraser by using a pencil erasing on a paper a bit and get the bits of eraser and roll them up until it’s like play Dough

For me if they get past of no return ill just play with it!

They're perfect for certain tasks, but not everything. You can get by for all your erasing needs with one kneaded eraser, and one white eraser

I love my kneaded eraser. But it could never replace my normal soft-drawing eraser. So I just keep both around.

Hmm….it doesn’t replace my most used eraser: mono zero eraser. So small I can do texture designs with it.
