What's going on Ladies and Gents?
As you probably guessed, I'm stoooopidly hyped for the summer and ready to ride the Yamaha MT07. I've been working my way up to this diverse engine range which the A2 license offers since the age of 16. However, I'm deeply struck down to say goodbye to the 125cc. I've owned three in particular (NSR, YZF-R125 and the MT) and they are so fun to ride, light and perfect for new riders.

No worries bro, it's my pleasure! Still getting to grips with it - Photo quality is coming along but need to practice those cinematic (frustratingly didn't have the tripod on me). MT07 videos will soon drop! ^_^

I know somebody with the MT-07, they also have the underslung akra and it sounds absolutely amazing without the db killer. I'm upgrading to an rs125 finally in a few weeks, one go on a 2t 125 sold me soon as I hit the power band haha

It'll be good to see how you find the mt07 after moving on from 125's. I've been considering the 07 but I'm liking the look of the Aprilia Dorsoduro

Thanks man! Appreciate the support.. I replaced the standard with bar end mirrors which I soon decided to remove. I normally have mirrors, don't worry!

Hey, just wondering when u had the mt 125, how many miles were on it before you put the akropovic on? I'm just about to get a brand new one so will run in. Do you reckon I should wait to run it in first or just stick the system on? Thanks

Hey! Thanks for the comment, personally, in my opinion - I'd fit the exhaust from day one; I can't see any reasons to as why this would/could effect the 'running-in' period at all. If you're concerned; ask the dealership :).

A2 licences what it entails? Do I need to do my A1 first? I want the MT-07 and not really bothered about massive bikes so not bothered about the full bike test (yet). Does it last forever ? Thanks

In order to take your A2 License, you'll require a valid CBT and theory certificate. (you don't need to pass the A1). The A2 does not expire, but if you decide you'd like to go de-restricted or a larger motorbike - you'll need to do your full test.

hey evolution i hope you answer to my comment I am between a yamaha 125 scooter and the mt125 i live in a very small city so getting around is easy despite heavy traffic do you think i should get a scooter which is easier to ride or should i go for the mt 125??

I'd personally opt for the MT-125 over a scooter that is 'twist and go'. That's my personal preference though.

Purchased pre-mixed coolant and top it up! There are two types, orange and blue/green. Don't mix them!

They're anywhere between £2000-£3000 second hand generally.

Is their much difference in size n weight from the mt 125 n 07

Not really, both are very light. There's about 25-30kg difference between the two. I hope this helps!

would you recommend getting a 50cc at 16 or just waiting till 17 to get a 125cc also what 50cc would recommend, thanks

Hm, good question - ultimately the 125cc is the better option but if you really want to get the road experience and Independence a year earlier - go for it! The 125s are less hassle and have more power though.

Hi EvolutionMotoVlogs, I'm going to take my CBT in the summer and I want to buy the new MT125 as a 1st bike. would this be a good learners' bike and would I need an A1 licence or would a CBT and theory test would be enough?

Hey! Thanks for the comment. Good decision on going for your CBT. It's a one day course, if all goes well you'll be able to ride a 125cc which is learner legal (you do not require an A1 License or theory test - this is optional in the future if you want to carry pillions, access motorways and remove L plates). The MT125 is a perfect learner motorbike, I'd always recommend going for a second hand vehicle if it's your first - just incase you drop it accidentally (happens to even the experienced). I hope this helps! :)
