This film means so much to me. I explore what it means to truly be alive in this place and how we are connected with the world around us.

This is so so special man. Iceland and the Faroes are my absolute favorite place in the world in terms of feeling truly alive and I know your parents were experiencing that adventure with you. You should be proud. What a beautiful message.

The algorithm should be ashamed of itself for giving this only 10K views bro. I have been to Iceland two years ago and it is the most incredible place on earth. Most of my family already died too and they will never see Iceland. The death of my people turned me into a much more humble, down to earth and thankful person. I appreciate my life much more than I did as a kid. I used to be depressed when I had everything. It sounds kind of crazy but ever since the death of my family taught me about the value of life I am much happier and fulfilled now.

Yes I have had a similar experience. It really gives us perspective when we lose a loved one. I wouldn't be who I am now if it wasn't for the pain I've went through. Those experiences are what make us human. Thank you so much for watching. The algorithm is whatever lol, I don't care if it has 10k or 100k, the film means the world to me. When I first started making films, I made Two Lives in 2019 about my parents. This is kinda a spiritual successor to that. Thanks again

Although the over-poetic delivery isn't my kinda thing, you made me feel through this short film and I was in tears by minute 2. And that's what art is all about - making you experience feelings and emotions deep down. Thank you, and I am sorry for your loss.
@BryceDocherty11 күн бұрын
Thank you so much for watching! Yes the poetic aspect wasn't my thing either, but I really wanted to try something different. I'm exploring making the film as much as I am in the film itself and in my life. I think we are all subtly trying to seek answers, and our voices end up echoing into the great abyss. It's fascinating to me what makes us human, and why we are the way we are. Thanks again for watching and commenting.

Dear Bryce, I hope all your wounds heal, thanks for letting other people feel what you have inside. I had goosebumbs through the entire video cause sometimes we just don't know how lucky we are and what we can loose in a blink of an eye. Wish you the very best of luck, world deserves people THIS sensitive and caring.

Thank you so much man!! I definitely am doing good. We always take things for granted even though we don't mean to. It's just our nature of getting comfortable and letting our guard down. We have to let it down to enjoy life. But always reminding ourselves how blessed we are is a good way to live a good balanced life. Thanks so much for watching!

I loved this man. Cinematography is one of my recent passions. A form of art where each video, each scene or each ray of light inspires and tells me a story. I'm only 20s and my mum is still very much alive so im very grateful for this. And Bryce, your mother is filled with love and such a great pride. Mine is watching my unlisted cinematic films and adores them so i defintely believe it!

Bro this film is so meaningful. I've watched a good majority of your films and this one in particular spoke to me on a whole other level. Even though we never see any footage/pics of your parents, we as an audience feel their presence throughout the video. It's like we as a viewer have been placed in their shoes, watching you experience life.
