It is technically science because the reaction of bleach is exothermic. Which is why when you bleach your roots your head feels hot. It's also the reason why stylists use foils because it traps the heat and helps it process faster.

hey TKOR! i have an idea i think you should try: so for some fog machines they heat up Glycol to make the fog, what if you put Glycol in a container pressurized it and then released the pressure suddenly (quickly) would the glycol suddenly vaporize like water? op smoke grenade?

I think something to consider is with he cranberry juice, you're mixing a weak acid with one of the stronger alkalines (bases) and I think the reaction you're seeing is an avid base reaction

Acrylic craft paint was an interesting choice for a "known to stain" material. I can clean those Apple Barrel paints off my white mixing palettes with just warm water. I think the "colour" you had left in your bleach was broken up specks of intact paint.

the developer you used is for like hair color yes you can mix it with bleach powder to make a hair lightener but it also mixes with color to slightly lighten the hair and deposit color and a lower volume of developer (say 10 volume) is used to mainly deposit color not necessarily lighten

With the cranberry juice after adding the bleach, can you try adding an acid to neutralize the bleach, since bleach is basic, hopefully restoring the color of the cranberry juice
