Great videos, I’m onto my 4th dye and the first few have all turned out awesome! Any advice on how long/how hot to dye Kastaplast K1 glow plastic under a heat lamp? I’ve done two different glow plastics so far; one was a little too light and the other started to bleed together a bit, so I want to make sure I try and hit that sweet spot.

I typically heat discs between 120-145 degrees for an hour to an hour 10. If the stamp is particularly fragile I'll go lower heat for longer like 105 degrees for 2 hours 30

right before this video went up i tried something very similar. Only difference was i pulled the disc out and rinsed it then flipped it over and dunked the rim into that same bed for an hour. Thought thats what you were gonna do. Great Video!!!!

Sweet dye! Love the colors. Can’t wait to try the rim trick. Have you thought about doing any more of the manipulated cells like the one when you used a straw to blow them around I thought that one was really awesome

I've heard you say you use a 150 watt lamp but I've also heard you say you use a 250 watt bulb. I thought you werent supposed to use a bulb thats a higher wattage than the fixture its in. Just trying to get my heat just right and don't know what bulbs to use for my 150 watt lamp. Thanks!

Neutron plastic is my favorite plastic to dye. Takes dye very well and doesn't fade fast.

are you using the recommended prochem to floetrol mix ratio, or something different? Also, it seems other dyers have muted colors, but yours are always so vibrant. Any reason you could comment on for this?

I use the recommended floetrol/dye ratio from the instructions on the Prochem site. I think I get more vibrant and sharper colors because I heat discs at a higher temp than most other dyers.
