Excellent review BigSouth! For the price I would want something that works better. I fabricate things a lot but I haven’t had the time to make one. It looks like I’m going to make some time to make my own chute blocker.

You could run a hot wire off the acc of the key switch. Then you will only have power when you turn it on

Split a short piece of rubber hose and slide it down onto the blade of your shoot blocker to protect the motor!

I watched your video and posted two previous comments. Both were deleted somehow. KZfaq censors I guess. All I said was it's hard to think about mowing & mulching with 8 inches of snow on the ground here in Maryland. I'll look into the chute blocker, but the link you posted takes me to a blank page.
