Today's recipe is for a rich gateau au chocolat made with 3 egg whites.
It is rich in chocolate and cocoa, so it has a strong flavor, but because it is fat-free, it has a light aftertaste and is very easy to eat.
It can be eaten immediately after baking, so you can enjoy the melt-in-your-mouth texture☺.
▷Ingredients (for 6 pieces)
80 g sweet chocolate
30 g milk
2 teaspoons rum (to taste)
20 g cocoa powder
3 egg whites (100 g)
35 g granulated sugar
Powdered sugar
▷How to make:
1. Melt the sweet chocolate over a hot water bath, add the milk, rum, and cocoa powder in this order, and mix.
2. Add granulated sugar to the egg whites in 3 batches to make a meringue.
3. Add a scoop of meringue to the chocolate mixture and blend to combine with the meringue.
4. Put the dough into a bag, and squeeze it into a muffin tin lined with glassine paper.
Bake in a preheated oven at 170℃ for 12 to 15 minutes.
6. Decorate with powdered sugar and raspberries.
