That one minute of silence after the last bite, I felt that, bro. Grew up poor, abusive home, addiction, the whole nine. But every once in a while, sh*t would calm down for a second and my mom would whip up some Hamburger Helper and for just a minute, it felt like I had a normal childhood. This brought it back for me.

Man this takes me back. I use to cook this as kid for me and my siblings while my parents were at work. I was the oldest and cooked, cleaned, and took care of my siblings. Use to cook this with a pot of rice. I come from a Polynesian backround Tongan/Samoan and it would fill up all 6 of us! Ima cook this tonight for memories!

This made me so happy. Watching all the mukbangers and asmr people eat expensive, exotic, different kinds of foods.. this one hit right at home. It's nice to know that, I wasn't the only one who enjoys this !! Living in a poor household, this is one of the better meals we eat. Simple should be appreciated, simple is sometimes best.

Very relatable, and wholesome comments. This hit home for me too. Growing up in a family that went through much turmoil that went from middle to lower-class since my father lost his career job and couldn't get back in. Some abuse and such that went on and made it hard to speak up. My father always cooked amazing meals for us. But when it was a serious struggle, he would make this stuff and I loved it every time. Hamburger helper is so good!

Man I remember when I was 5-6 my older sister would make Hamburger helper for my family, our mom or my sister called us downstairs and we sat at the table waiting for our plates as we watched Spongebob or a batman/marvel movie, when we got our plates we would say grace and dig right in to the food, every bite I took was amazing as it was. I am so glad I got to experience that delicious taste in my childhood. To those who never did, I seriously recommend that you buy yourself some and also the beef stroganoff because it is really good with groundmeat!

I ate hamburger helper somuch growing up even until i moved out last year. in my mexican household we ate it with pickled jalapeños, mexican sour cream, and sometimes cheese. Its so good!! I love this video so much, where i live now it isnt easy for me to eat ground beef but god I want to eat hamburger helper again 😭

Yep mother’s cookies is my absolute favorite found it in a vending in college after I left California they didn’t have it in FL. I almost broke the vending machine to get it could not believe it!!!! Walmart used to sell it now it’s available online sometime

i hadnt visited my nana for almost 6-7 years? and when we came over for my birthday, she made her spaghetti, a nice sweet spaghetti sauce, hot dogs chunks and beautifully cooked noodles and i think some mince beef, but god was it amazing we hadnt had any since she came over so when we finally met her again and she made her spaghetti, bro it was so good
