Schiehallion
is one of the easiest Munros to climb on a fine summers day. It takes the form of a broad ridge, with the famous conical appearance only apparent from across Loch Rannoch.

Excellent path most of the way; final section to summit across boulders.

Please note that hillwalking when there is snow lying requires an ice-axe, crampons and the knowledge, experience and skill to use them correctly.

Fab film. I had much the same weather when I went up on Monday. I sat a bit on the summit being hopeful the cloud would clear but sadly it didn’t.

Excellent again - love the authentic wind noise as you climb. Does seem to attract a good number of poorly prepared folk. Great title as well 👍

Blimey, where’s all the snow gone?! When I did it 5 years ago it was full on winter conditions from the car park!!! Next time, rather than taking the ‘tourist’ path there is a track up from the Loch Rannoch side and you come up the western nose of the mountain. A bit more adventurous!😉 Love the way Lisa appears less than keen to be in your movies Dave. 🤣

Ran this with a mate years ago as we descended he said last one down buys the beers and shot off. I saw him suddenly shoot off the wrong way !! Anyway I carried on descending at the car I waited and waited eventually he turned up,cheap night for me but too this day he can't tell me why on a lovely clear summers Day he went the wrong way.

Hi guys. There were moments that looked bitter cold & yet it's incomprehensible that in 2023 there are still people that set out under-prepared clothing wise. Glad the camera survived it's little tumble. Beautiful scenery in all weathers. Take care till next time..

The dark foreboding weather on the return leg made a beautiful backdrop. Have you ever done a video about the gear you take on a day hike like this? It might be useful to people just ut starting their hiking journey. Edit. Too early and my spelling is meh!😅
