You really go in-depth and give each drone an unbiased review and let me the consumer decide if its the right one for me. The Egg is very unique and looking at the direction drones are going this is the future. Great video, keep up the great work and I'll be following more of you. By the way my son fly's the Hubsan Desire x4 and loves it. But looks like I have a motor to replace since last crash.

After 4 hours and 31 minutes...... Voilà! It's ready to fly.

Kind of chunky but great camera rotation and fun features. Definitely looks cool with the leg retraction. And 5km distance, wow! One thing I really like about this is that it doesn't look scary or intimidating so others might be more ok with you flying around.

As usual an excellent video from one of the most easy going guys on the tube. When this was first available in the UK I believe it was almost 2 grand and that is pounds not dollars, now its about 450 so probably worth a look as a fun drone, I can't imagine it would do to well in a crash. Great review just the facts.

I think this drone is unique just the way I like things. It not only flies but it a conversation piece. And you could always telll law enforcement your taking your pet egg for a walk. The prep time and all the steps to get started are ridiculous, however if you're not in a rush to get footage it seems like a fun choice and I also like the futuristic feel it has. Perhaps if they made a mini version of it, more people would pick one up.

$150 for a SPARE battery. $369 for the Egg. Now I'm over $500 and I can get a DJI Mavic Mini FlyMore for $499 which has 3 BATTERIES. I love the unusual egg shape. I love that the Mavic Mini is VERY compact. I like the more advanced settings for the Egg. I like that DJI is the 800 pound gorilla in this space. If YOU had $500 to spend for a drone that will take great B Roll shots and mile after mile of cornfields.... which drone would YOU pick? :)

I would be all over this drone for that price except I just made ARRMA richer yesterday when I found one of their limited (not limitless) Infractions. Trying to be a functional RCer and not a blantant abuser! I loved the look of this Drone when it first came out, and now the price has dropped significantly. Another well done review my northern friend.

Always power up the ESCs with the drone on a level surface to allow the gyros to calibrate properly.

Nice! The power egg interesting! The 349 is a pretty good price. I'm curious about what photographic still capabilities are available in the app and camera link pano, bracketing, timelapse, etc. Now that you have some experience with it. Hope to see more detail on these features thanks.

In my opinion, this is a great idea, love the price point, but the dji mavic mini just kind of one ups it in all ways from flight time to range to portability. Honestly if the dji mavic mini wasn’t around, I’d get of these for sure but the mavic mini just seems to kind of make it a bit obsolete. Also great video Captain!

Captain Drone, you're the BEST! Good, concise reviews that one can trust. After flying a Phantom (great drone) but not wanting to spend that much, I found your review of the Power Egg and thought, for a neat drone that has a great camera but won't break the bank, I'll go for it. The price HAD, indeed, gone up, but (and maybe I shouldn't divulge this) with an email from me asking if there were any promotions, they did actually provide me with a promo code that knocked some $$ off so I bought one. Only have 3 flights under my belt but so far, so good, kind of. My little glitches are as follows: When I first set up to actually fly it, as it performed the self check, the SD card and the Gimball tests were highlighted in red and said "abnormal". Like the brain Igor found for young Dr. Frankenstein. In an attempt to clear the codes I shut everything down and restarted which is the extent of my abilities. Same thing, but I figured, since it had nothing to do with the flying part, I would go for it and there were no problems. Everything worked fine and the next time I flew it there were no problems and all the self checks came up clean and green. The only other issue so far has been that I can't seem to get the one button takeoff to work. I am using the "N" mode. Any thoughts? I will close by saying that I called the Power Vision folks and they returned my call the next day (I had called after hours) but they didn't really have an answer to why those checks were abnormal or what to do if it happens again. How about a review of the Power Eye? Thanks !! George M

Neat idea but flawed. Weight distribution I think is bad. The cg is low from the looks of it. So itll cause a pendulum effect causing the motors to work harder and the gimbal
