A Man Called Horse. The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance. The Hanging Tree. Can you believe that some of the greatest westerns made into film were written by this grandmotherly looking woman? Dorothy M. Johnson had a deep love for the old west and she channeled that love into some amazing writing.

Thank you! Yes, Liberty Valance is one of my favorites. Aside from Wayne, Stewart and Marvin, you had Strother Martin doing all that hyena laughing and cackling which makes it even better.
