[not my comment, but thought it is worth mentioning here] The whole point of the song is about contradictions, how society tells you to be all these things, how they don’t seem to make sense. The lyrics are supposed to point out these hypocrisies and try and expose these issues. The bridge contains a message of acceptance, as Taka sings “I am who I am, no matter what, never changing, no matter what”. He realizes he needs to be his own person, not being someone else, according to society’s standards. The accident was supposed to be a wake up call for him, and the dancer in a red dress is a Bian Lian (meaning "Face Changing" of Sichuan Opera) dancer. It's supposed to portray his old self/reflection who's to remind him of his origin (that he's a Chinese afterall), he realises and begins to dance in a traditional way following the Sichuan dancer, at the same time he's tempted copy his peers' moves which is a western dance so he's mixing the two, but couldn't "fit in" to his peers no matter what. He falls several times in attempt to copy his friends' ways out of peer pressure. In the end, his friends began lifting him then pushed him down, then out of exhaustion he finally broke free. He's back to his old self and learned his lesson (the kid was just a representation and not literal that he's back to being a kid). Overall, the depiction varies for individual and it's for general. It doesn't only apply to Asians, but for all. The title of the song also contains the most important contradiction: “Stand out, fit in”. It means to be yourself or to “stand out”, while also conforming to society’s standards, or “fit in”. This message is especially resonant in Japan, where conformity is expected and individuality isn’t as prominent as it is in western countries such as the US, although many Japanese artists have been pushing to change this standard. The song is a criticism of societal hypocrisy, and a damn good one at that. Directly referencing double standards while pushing for individuality is what makes this song so powerful, and its message is important for anyone to hear, reinforcing that they can be themselves, and don’t have to be what society wants them to be.

The name of the band in one ok rock because when they started they were only able to rehearse at one o'clock so when they decided to name the band they noticed the way they said one o'clock sounded like one ok rock so they decided to name the band ONE OK ROCK so you're not wrong xd This son is my favourite since it came out last year,,, it really speaks to me and that's why i love about them and their music and why they are my favourite band Anyways looking forward to seeing more oor reactions ^^

Basically the band name is pronounced one o crock or wanokuroku in Japanese (which is how Japanese pronounce one o clock) and in the west it's usually pronounced one okay rock. So either works. Honestly some songs are better to see live and some are better to watch for the music video because there is a story. Stand Out Fit in works much better with the music video.
