Thanks. We opened our lists and found the 3.0 update that morning. I'm sure we missed a bunch of other rules because we were discovering the new edition on the fly.

I'd like to note that, while Undead has been made a bit more harsh (wounds on 1-3 instead of 1-2), HOWEVER that now does not happen automatically anymore. Instead you take a morale test as normal, and the crumbling effect only triggers if you FAIL the test. In the old rules, you automatically suffered the hits on a 1-2 instead of taking a morale test, now you take the morale test, and if you pass all is well but if you fail you take wounds on 1-3. It's more punishing when you fail, but you now have a chance to take no damage instead. Makes elite undead more durable while leaving chaff like Zombies to die in droves.

Others have pointed that out as well. I continue to get it wrong on a couple other videos. One of these days I'll remember.

They have changed some of the rules to still apply to the unit even if a character without it joins (like shieldwall), but others (like flying) still require the entire unit to have it.

Enjoyed your battle report. Really sounded like you were having fun. Seeing people play the “other” game, I hear a lot of discussion and looking up rules. Where did the terrain come from? Suggestion: Dwarves need different dice. As I am trying to follow along and learn the rules, I seldom knew what #’s you were rolling😜

Part of that was the bad lighting. I've improved the lighting and got a dice tray. The terrain was Age of Sigmar Terrain mostly - various kits and buildings that I painted all the same scheme.

Dwarven heros have fearless rule. Not sure if they had it when this was played. Basically after you fail morale check you have 50% chance to ignore it.

That was the first game I ever recorded and was so concerned with lighting and filming I missed a ton of stuff. I promise I'll get better in the future.
