@@GreatGreenLeo my fear is that they’re going to insist on the original cast for the Straw Hats and that something happens to them before they can finish the reboot, thereby causing an issue with recasting in the middle of the series. I can’t imagine anyone else as Luffy, but I’d rather someone else play him for an entire series and let Tanaka-san retire after the Toei series ends

« A man die when people forget him.” This line had a profound effect on me when I watched the anime for the first time and still does today, as I'm currently crying. What a beautiful vision of death. Hiluluk, we won't forget you 😊

Fun Fact: Wapol cannot merge other living beings other than himself with the Munch Munch Fruit; Kuromarimo is just standing on Chess's shoulders with their clothes merged. Also, once Wapol uses the bathroom he has to 'restock' in order to use said eaten objects and weapons.

One thing I have absolutely always loved about the fight at the top of the castle is that on one hand, we see Chopper and Sanji who don't know each other not being able to work together efficiently yet, whereas when Luffy comes back and Sanji tells him to grab his leg, Luffy immediately undersdood what the idea was because they have known each other for a while now. It's such a simple but oh so effective way to show their growth as a crew so far.

I love Chopper so much. He's more than a cute reindeer, he's a doctor in training. He learned so much from Hiriluk and the whole scene with his words hits so hard.

count yourself lucky that you dont easily cry lol, i cry very easily so one piece has me absolutely sobbing on a regular basis. its actually really draining to watch certain episodes or reactions to it, so i have to time it right so no one has to see me sobbing at my desk watching youtube😂💀

I love the moment when Luffy runs in Nami's room looking for a coat and they are just having a casual conversation about a fight going on outside and about how cold it is. She's completely unphased about the fact there is a fight going on, Luffy is completely unworried, its just so laid back its hilarious.

hio alsow a nice point when Sanji tells Chopper with a smile on the face that Luffy is a monster shows Chopper that the term monster dosn´t always have to be a negative term^^.

You can say it takes a lot to get you to cry if you want. Oda will prove you wrong. His ability to quickly and easily get you to empathize with the characters seems almost supernatural. Always be prepared to start bawling when they start telling back stories backstories. No matter who it is.

I told you there are some tear-jerkers. Still, you've got some wet eyes versus me over here having the sniffles and dabbing my eyes every few seconds. I even made sure to come prepared with plenty of tissue to wipe my eyes. I can't help but cry no matter how many times I see or read this scene. The anime actually made it 100 times better with the musical score. That's another thing, I really notice you noticing a lot of the individual instruments for both sound effects and music. I think that's pretty cool; I never even paid attention to the individual instruments like that. It's made me think about how much the sound has actually affected me from the anime--when I read the manga, I "hear" the effects and music I've already seen in the anime. If I'd only read the manga for these past 1113 chapters, I'd probably not get anywhere near the same feel.

I would really love it if, at the end of major arcs, you could maybe do a small video about your opinions on the main Straw Hat crew, their character advancement, and maybe what you expect fro them going forward. It would just be interesting to compare that to later arcs, and see how your opinion evolves over time.

1. 100% WHY CAN ANYONE SHITTALK THIS ANIME!!! 2. The Hilihurk LINE!!! A man dies if they get forgotten 3. Luffys female voiceactor is about 80 years nowadays ^^ 4. Luffy: This Pirate Flag won't break! 5. If you don't cry easily, trust me, One Piece will do it to you more than just 1 time ^^' 6. I always love to see people that enjoy this show more and more to every new Episode ^^

Hiriluk's speech on the meaning of death is an important themes of the story The scene with Ave Maria is so much stronger than in the manga. Chopper's VA is outstanding.

Your take on the cinematography and musical choices..there are only a few instances where some anime eps get an Auteur treatment. A weekly anime getting this treatment is very rare..OnePiece has some great direction episodes, with storyboarding and all. Recently it got to a point where people started acknowledging the team for specific eps.

My first watch I didn't cry till way into the story. I've rewatched and read it several times now and I have tears in so many scenes. It gets deeper and sadder the more you know, I usually rewatch from the beginning every 200 episodes for new context

Drum Island is more intense than it looks like it should be, isn't it? That line of Dr. Hiriluk’s, about when a man dies, it is frequently quoted, unsurprisingly. You'll be coming up on alabasta soon. The Arc, not the Saga, we're in the Saga. There are several filler episodes, as I'm sure you're already aware, one that provides contradictory information, and then one that is about 95% filler and 5% important canon information, episode 101. That one, I think you could react to the whole thing if you wanted, it's a fun one. If not though, the last 5 or 10 minutes has the information that you will definitely need. I've seen many of your reactions, starting with *The Owl House* and I know tears aren't generally a thing with you. One Piece may change that. 😏

At least he was still taking it in and enjoying the storytelling. He didnt find it so damn funny that Ave Maria was playing that he stopped paying attention to the show entirely, missing Hiriluk's speech in the process. I'm glad that's not a thing that ever happened.
