Nakama (仲間) is better translated as comrade or colleague not as friend. The Japanese word that best translates to friend is Tomodachi (友達 ou ともだち).

There's nothing wrong with getting caught up in the moment and viewing events in this series as they're initially portrayed. Oda likes to give context to things later on.

Fun Fact: Bon Clay is also pronounced as Bon Kurhei - a Japanese Holiday. Hence Mr 2 is his own female holiday agent.

There was a subtle line from Sanji. When chopper asks what Luffy is he replies “Basically he’s a monster” showing chopper that it doesn’t matter what you are

Congratulations you're reaching the point in the series where more and more things start getting set up that won't fully pay off for hundreds of episodes. Oda is a master of setting things up early.

something you haven't noticed: In Little Garden when Sanji talked to Crocodille, he was diferent and had a weird mustache for some reason, i guess they didn't know what his design would be in that time 😅

The will of D is a very important aspect of One Piece, just remember that What Kureha means is, people call the king of pirates "Gold Roger" when in reality, his name was "Gol D Roger", just like luffy's "Monkey D Luffy"

It's in 240p, Chopper voice actor Goodbye behind the scenes, something like that. Minor spoilers, some future crewmates, lots of scenes besides the Chopper one..but maybe if your mods give you that Clip only.

I don't know if you know it by now, but but Sanji's voice actor does the voice of Karoo. And another voice actor will do the voice of another animal in a few episodes.

Hope you brought your tissues. "The Will of D lives on" I can't believe how many young people I've seen watch these episodes who didn't pick up on the fact that Dr. Kureha was just gassing Chopper up so he would be bold enough to leave. She was insulting him and missing on purpose. I think it might be just how you young folks were raised with everyone being able to communicate their feelings directly that you miss out on the subtly to human emotions and actions. The live action casting for next season is going to be INSANE... Mr.0, Miss All-Sunday, Mr. 2, Chopper, Vivi, Kureha, Dorry and Broggy...

1. I mean the "just hanging out Episodes" are mostly in the fillers ^^. I'm glad you understood it in the end, why Dr. Kureha did that :P 2. And I agree, such a smart move from Vivi even in the young age :) 3. Ace is very cool, indeeed ;P 4. Btw in Alabasta you will learn a big amount of mysteries, maybe a notebook really might be good ;), and ngl I can't wait for ALL your confusing faces in this first big arc xD 5. “Good luck figuring out what exactly the “D.” is; let the rest of the world know if you do, because that’d be huge. 🤣 Oda does this thing where he likes to trickle info. You’re not going to get every piece of the puzzle at once. In any given lore dump One Piece does (and oh *god* it does them well, they’re every bit as exciting for me as the big fights), you’re only going to get hints at one truth which themselves are wrapped in even more mysteries. That said, we’re reaching a place in the manga (in what Oda has called the Final Saga) where the picture is getting clearer and clearer, and oh my god do these decades of setup ever pay off. I could never rave enough about this story to express my love for the scope of it. P.S. the final fight in the Alabasta arc has the perfect score and has action that’ll totally blow you away. This is where One Piece really reaches a grand scale. So excited to see your reactions!

The reason why Mr 2 doesn't have a partner because he is both male and female Bon clay is the day it's a "festival" 2 is the number & He is as strong as 2 Something you might have missed is that they say "Drogon will be a problem in 5 or 6 years" So he is a big problem now because the flashback was 6 years ago

you should make a note book there is a lot that will become relivent. like ace said he was looking for blackbeard, the 2nd time the name has been dropped, and if you need kuraha's words clearing up Gold Rogers real name is Gol D. Roger, D. are not blood related. i wont spoil anything but pay BIG attention to anyone with a D. in there name like Monkey D. Luffy or Gol D. Roger

yeah you are likely going to want a few notebooks or maybe some kind of whiteboard/cork board to keep track of this series. It is a lot of information spread over so many episodes and it is still going strong.

Kureha's a good mom, had she been fully supportive out the gate, Chopper would've been hesitant to leave. what may seem like cruelty, was merely so on the surface, for saying goodbye is the hardest thing to do, especially with the possibility of never returning alive.

I mean Luffy doesn't hide or lie about thing, if you have a blue nose or you are a monster, luffy will call it out. Now people can be insucure about their apparence, but that doesn't mean people can't see your apparence. it is better to accept what you are, and move on. People are attracted to you because who you are and if you are confidant and don't focus on what makes your insecurities, people will surly fall in love with your insucurities. Really people will start liking your blue nose, they will be proud you're a monster. because what you expose is associate with possitive things that will become eventually charisma. Who knows, maybe you'll start a new trend of blue nose lol. See if you were insure about your nose and start hiding it, people will associate that blue nose with bad feeling and no one wants to feel bad.

In the future I'd like to see you react to BLEACH. I'm a massive One Piece fan and haven't missed a video yet on your journey but Bleach is insanely good. The music/OST is absolutely amazing and mixes with the show really well like One Piece. Bleach didn't have anything new but 10 years later Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War came out. Finally finishing what was started 10 years before.

In the tradition of East asian naming convention family name is first then first name for example monkey D Luffy, luffy is his first name. So roger is his first name. Apeice of trivia at one point Alabaster was nearly the final arc or penultimate arc before Oda got green lit for more episodes. This is common with Magazines like Shonen Jump, if the comic strip does not have the popularity it does not have its run extended.

Zoan type DF gave you ability to shift into animals, Paramecia type is uniques abilities like wapol, buggy, alvida, mr 5( its most common) and the third type is logia type (smoker,ace) guys who can turn into elements and control them on will( the strongest and the rarest category.) this is not spoiler, anyway ,you should know for better understandings the show now on. For countries aligned with the World Government pacifying civilians so they don't get caught up in rebellion is a rulers duty. Some genuinely care and rule justly whilst others fear retaliation so they become tyrannical out of fear ... hence Wapol's sour rule, opposite of his caring father who fears he spoiled Wapol too much.
