Belle-mere is her name. She's literally "beautiful mother."

@@agenttheater5Yes. The worlds literally translate “beautiful mother” but the term actually means step mother. In french.

18:32 Garp carried out the sentence - he didn't sentence him to death, he didn't write the law that demanded that Roger died, he didn't carry the polearms that skewered Roger. He just carried the sentence out. Also......no, no spoilers. Not saying anything else.

I don't know if you noticed this but - the sting-ray fishman, Kuroobi I think. If you look, on the right side of his chest, you'll see a symbol of a sun. You can't really see it here, but if you go back to Nojiko's flashback and look very closely at the left side of Arlong's chest, past all his hair you'll see that symbol as well, just the beams though. But it's the same symbol as Kuroobi has. You'll want to remember that symbol. We'll see it on other fishmen as well - and remember not all of them are with the along crew.

You'll find out why out of all the names, Arlong named his hideout/headquarters 'Arlong park'. Remember the name. You'll get it much later.

And imagine, that in the Anime this scene with nami stabbing herself and luffy gave her the head, hits way more in the Anime, you might cry even more 😢 ^^'

In the anime Nami told Nojiko about the agreement and the villagers got to know it too eventually. Wasn't a good change in my opinion.
