Depression is so much more then u know.. Its a constant struggle.. Like a wound will feel better, but then can get so bad feels like torture. Idk how else to explain.. I would ramble more, but I feel no one will ever understand those who don't have it calling it "fake" 😢 ToT

I definitely feel u. I've been there, still struggling.. It's like an endless challenge, that sneaky greyish, muddy feeling is always there even when u feel a little bit better some days. something drags u down constantly. Meds, therapy, activity didn't help me fix it for good. It is always one step forward two steps back. The saddest part is u watch your life getting wasted and feel guilty&anxious about this, too. The major thing i feel daily is life is beautiful, worth living, full of possibilities, good moments but im not allowed to experience it.I can smell but cant taste, i can see but can't touch. I'm not even talking about those morons who claim it s fake, or that we re not trying hard enough to fight off, or those snapping at us that we don't have that serious problems in life to get depressed ,etc. . All of the above is my personal experience and hope nobody has to go through this.

Homeopathic medicine works beautifully in conjunct with healing the intestinal lining. I also use organotherapy( sarcodes)parts of the brain in the limbic system and it has been amazing. Sarcodes including dicephalon hippocampus amygdala and the frontal lobe. If you work on the gastrointestinal system and then add cell nutrition and sarcodes, there is the potential of such beautiful healing

I'm glad you mentioned psychedelics. Given the success most trials seem to be having with depression, PTSD...and the tight gut-brain relationship, I wonder if future therapies will include some form of psychedelic? From what I've read, psychedelics themselves can be tough on the gut, but I can't help but wonder if in the weeks/months following psychedelic-assisted therapy, if people see benefits in their gut due to some of the very things (amygdala, stress/immune response, etc.) you mention here.

That's a great point. I'm interested to see those effects as well. I'll definitely do an update on that when the time comes, because I think psychedelics have a lot of potential.

The probiotics you recommend do not have the specific strain used in study. Do you have study evidence that the strains in the products you recommend have a similar effect on depression as the NCC3001 BL strain in the study? I have looked far and wide and do not see a product that contains the NCC3001 BL strain.

Great content Dr Ruscio, but what about when people take these probiotics even soiled ones and start to have many symptoms like insomnia, heartbeat, abdominal swelling, nausea, etc. Does the person really not tolerate probiotics or do they have to do something else? I would like you to talk about this issue.

From what i understand, that could potentially be indicative of some underlying condition (moderate to severe reactions to probiotics). For me, only L Reuteri works well for me. Other families of probiotics thus far give me constipation
@DrRuscioDC
@DrRuscioDC Жыл бұрын
Like the other commenter mentioned, it may be a response to the particular strain. It could even be the brand of probiotics. I've had people tell me probiotics didn't work and it turned out it was because it was a pre and pro-biotic, or the probiotic had dairy in it. So sometimes it's as simple as changing the brand or formula.
@mariejimpowerful

@@DrRuscioDC Good point. I always buy my probiotics without pre-biotics. If I want some prebiotics, I prefer to add it myself when needed instead of having it in my probiotics. It seems that I need LOTS of probiotics, many strains, many types, etc. I am on a very LONG road that never seem to end. I think I have no choice but to buy the Elemental diet.
@DrRuscioDC
@DrRuscioDC Жыл бұрын
@@mariejimpowerful Exactly the right approach on being able to add prebiotics separately! I'm sorry the road seems to be never-ending for you though. Hopefully, the elemental diet can help. Let me know how it goes for you, should you try it. :)

How can I avoid falling into depression if everything happening in the world depresses me, everything happening in my country depresses me, everything happening in my family depresses me? I've experienced severe traumas, I can't sleep, and I can't cope with the lies everywhere and the lies and distortions that will be in the future of humanity... And mainly, I can't cope with the amount of people in the world - in my opinion, that's the source of most problems 😭😭😥😥

I heard most prebiotics are killed in the stomach because of stomach acid and don’t make it to the gut , so why would yours work ? I’m looking for a brand that bypass the stomach acid
@HeartFeltGesture
@HeartFeltGesture Жыл бұрын
Good point. Some strains are more hardy than others and do make it through the stomach acid. I would like to know, is this guys probiotic shelf stable, or will most of them die during transit? Also some brands use enteric coating on the capsules, this ensures they break down in the gut.

Dr Ruscio, you are the best. I wish you would be in my home town or even in Canada. I have to do everything myself. I went for some help, I had to pay, not offered by our health care system since they know nothing, and the alledged specialist I choose turned out to not really know all that there is to know about his speciality (outdated).. For instance, as for motility, in the past, I had better results with multi strains and multi species or probiotics... LOTS of it. But he did not agree and was not listening to me nor to what worked in the past. He even laughed at me... Anyway, It is still not over, lots of bloating still and constipation... but my brain feels better, that is a major plus. I am back with my LOTS of probiotics plus an immune supplement, something new, and it helps. But really... WHEN EATING IS HELL, it makes life extremely difficult and painful. I am at the point now where I will buy that Elemental diet, I see I have no choice. Unfortunately, I am not in the States so I can not buy your supplements, I wish! There are two new brands sold in Canada, maybe made here as well. I am exausted forso many years, got worst because I have to do everything myself (researh and all...) so, yes, MY GUT IS ALSO VERY TIRED! My whole body needs a break. At the moment, I have in my diet, rice baby cereal.. It is helping. My emotions are better now, I manage to talk to myself and put an end to stress. Thank you so much for your videos, I find you are the best. I watched lots of videos as to get information and knowledge. What I like also is that you are very much down to earth and honest. PS I like you hare as well!! Hi Hi!! Take care and thank you.

Question: you said your probiotic costs $45-49 for one bottle that would last 2 months. But the info on-line says it has 60 capsules and one should take 1-2 capsules, twice per day. So that one bottle would last at best 1 month, or possibly only 15 days. That discrepancy undermines your credibility….. I’d love to hear an explanation that addresses this. Thanks.
@DrRuscioDC
@DrRuscioDC Жыл бұрын
Sure! So, it might have been in another video but I discuss how we previously believed that a higher CFU was needed for the most benefit, but that the research is starting to suggest that 5-10 billion CFU is more than adequate. So with my probiotics, one capsule a day is plenty. :) There may be an update to the packaging and site to come soon.
