@@eskeladder7751 dunno how ur cat can scratch you when u pet him, i can pet mine all day and it wouldnt do nothing to me, even when i do a belly rub he doesnt do anything to me. Only time that he scratched me is when i wanted to play with him and he pulled out his claws and its understandable bc he is young (1 yrso)

@@choqi0 She has never scratched me when i pet her but sometimes she'll be on "Hunting" Mode and will scratch at any movement she sees. The scratches never hurt tho cuz when she scratch humans its just like a small scratch.

@@amberhernandez god yes. That's why I love them too. They have that "f*ck you" attitude 😂. Mine put me to sleep with the purrs and woke me up by either laying on my face trying to smother me, licking my eyelids or biting my toes 😆

My current cat was originally a bit too young to understand that I might accidentally hit their eyes if they move their head too fast while getting pets, and so for the first couple months I had to very carefully pay attention trying not to hurt them as their head violently gyrated trying to get maximum pettage. I of course, messed up once or twice, but luckily she learned quickly. From that point on, her head stayed pretty still, but put as much weight into the pets as possible. It's very precious :)

It could also have been that he was about to do what most cats do, lean into something and fall, because really, it doesn't matter if they fall. They're super agile and nimble, they'll be fine. They "land on their feet" as they say.

I used to have a wild rescue kitty that loved to sleep in my hair on my pillow and purr. She felt so comforted and safe in my hair. She also made it difficult for me to wake up. She would coo at me and pat my head as to tell me, "shhhhh it's alright, go back to sleep..." Oh and if she slipped off the pillow she would grab my scalp with her claws, but not often...

I was at my brother's house visiting this summer and one evening we had a barbecue outside and there came this wild cat from the fields, it was really hungry and scared of all sudden movement. Once it saw that my brothers family had a cat as well it started eating rapidly. After that it's spent the night inside and we were looking for the owners and even put posters and posted online about the cat but couldn't find any owner for him. So he stayed. The thing is this cat was different then any other cat I've ever seen before. It didn't stop purring once we gave it food. It purred for weeks every time it even came close to us. After a few weeks our cousin decided to adopt the cat after falling in love with it as well. I've always been a dog guy but after this summer I love cats as much 😻

I found a cat like that at a park(someone for sure dumped him) and he’s purring was just as loud too!! He was the sweetest. Too bad I couldn’t keep him, I already have three cats that I found from same park… but he was able to find a loving home and his owner is always sending me pictures of him 🥹 I love animals ❤

I was a “dog” person most my life until I happened to come upon a stray kitten that needed my help in 2017. I never felt cats to be all that affectionate but when you raise one yourself from a kitten it’s a wonderful bond. It still surprises me how much my little guy loves to see and be around me.

I remember when my cat named Ruthy was still only 2 weeks old and you could take a nap with her purring super happily. Now she is a demon to all sofas in existance. She is 3 years old now and can still somehow crawl under and through the hole that she made in the underside of the couch from the first month we got her. She has earned the loving nickname "Ruthy Ruthless".

I have a cat just like this! He purrs a lot, he starts when you walk into the room and then gets louder and louder till you hear him across the room.
