One Swift's Migration Journey | RSPB

Ай бұрынSwifts are summer visitors, breeding across the UK, but are most numerous in the south and east. Spending their winters in Africa, Swifts migrate 3,400 miles twice a year, stopping off to refuel in places like Portugal and France along the way.

A good map but its flawed. 15,000 miles is very wrong. To drive from Belfast to Mozambique via west African and home is 28,000 miles. If a swift flew just 10 miles per day for 10 months its 10milesx24hoursx300days=72,000 miles
