Redemption would be amazing considering it was Hojo and Jenova that caused the whole thing thing to begin with. I've seen a lot of fanfics toy with the idea. And some of them do it way too well. But at the same time saying goodbye to the the over powered batshit crazy one winged angel Sephiroth we all know and love almost doesn't seem worth it.

The Path We Choose. Last I checked, it's still the biggest FF VII fanfic on Fanfiction.net where the story changes drastically from the moment Jenova takes hold of Sephiroth, and leads down to him taking a similar role to Cloud in wanting to take down Shinra for his own personal gain rather than as part of an attempt to destroy the world.

I genuinely love the Crisis Core version, it's menacing yet playful as though to say you're being played with by something that could crush you at any moment which is remarkably fitting for that exact moment. Sephiroth in that moment didn't actually care about anything besides his goal, Zack was an especially stubborn minor bump in the road that he had to take an extra few minutes to brush aside.

You are definitely going to transfer some primal curse onto them. If when they reach talking age they start mumbling to themselves how despicable the species is and the air seems to tingle whenever they're around, call a priest or plucky former orphan to take care of them and start again. If you try to do it yourself you'll just start them down the path by fully activating their powers and giving them the tragic origin necessary to begin the final work.

The *ONLY* thing I see making moves on the richter scale approaching OWA..... is the BFG Division. Boos Music of a different kind... but.....I *REALLY* don't want to get those two fandoms at war with each other.
