This is ver-, um, *helpful, yes, that. My first inflection was when using "don't-like", throwing it to the ground and stomping on it a few times, it had to be signed that way, it just felt right~ Definitely, emphatic ASL really helps us do it the Deaf way, if we don't throw ourselves into it and do it half-way, then it's just plain "nominative", and that just isn't self-expression at all~ It's the difference between "that is my cat", and "my cat jumped on my head and started biting my scalp", fun times, for all except my dad, who didn't know the cat loved to do that, until that one day~

Ouch! I currently have a kitten that wakes me every morning by climbing under the cover and attacking my feet! Ugh! You are right this language is very expressive showing it fully on the face, hand and body. I love how expressive it is.

The squirrels have been digging up the dirt around my strawberry seedlings, looking for food under the moss, it's no big deal, but, I figured out how to inflect off of "Everyday" to indicate which days on and off, by continuously signing "Tomorrow" near and far from the cheek, while making the appropriate facial expression~ I also pulled out the ladder and the clippers and cut the main aerial/arboreal squirrel highway into the garden, so hopefully it wasn't a raccoon~

Oh, now I understand the inflected "Future" when signed from the face, it applies to myself. Before I was reading it as a sign version instead of an inflection.

At the start, "Discuss" was inflected similar to "Show-you". Some signs can be put on top of other signs, adjust arm placement and throw in a head shake, and express the entire thought with a single movement! Maybe use a random word generator for training.

Some of my favorite signs are completely non-manual meaning only with the body language such as smacking the lips to show "interesting".

Funny hearing person thing: whenever I start one of your videos, i get really excited, ready my brain to pay attention and... Turn the volume all the way up. It only registers to me right then how funny i look 😂 Thanks again Tammy

That is RIBTICKLING! I often get the request to please add some kind of sounds or music to these videos. How fun would it be to add news noise, rap music, heavy metal, machinery sound or something just for fun!
