Great video. One thing to note is that you can provide normalized operating expenses rather than have to reduce your expenses every month.

I'd love to do that, but it's difficult. Simply put, when I see something working, I pour a ton of fuel on it to make it bigger. So normalizing isn't easy

Thanks Ron, this is very informative. One question that has been popping in my mind. If we are using ESCROW, the buyer will deposit money, then, we transfer all assets and domain. At this stage what will happen if Buyer intentionally doesnt mark the transaction complete? I guess, ESCROW will transfer back the deposited money. So, buyer got all assets, and also got his money back. How is Sellers assets are secured in this case?

Escrow protects both parties. After you transfer the assets, you mark it as such and Escrow is aware of it. If someone says nothing was transferred and asks for everything back, they would (hopefully) stop it there and ask more questions. This is why I like using marketplaces to sell though, it makes sure someone is the intermediary.

How do you transfer ownership of the website to the buyer?

The bit I dont understand is how do i transfer the asset to them - would it not be easier to open a hosting account with your sole business on it and sell the whole kaboodle including the hosting account. ?

Hi Ron, I started my business/website two months before Covid ! As it is a tourist related site, it has not really got off the ground and even now with this war, so no sales, no value ? but huge potential to grow and make money. I have just not been lucky and now I want to sell as I don't even have family to pass it on to on my retirement. should I give up before I even try selling ?

You should be looking at the source of traffic . It's the hardest part of this . Anyone can make a site

@@DFavored1 for a site to gain value it's Google AdSense must show it earns money . If u are able to generate income through ads then anyone will be willing to pay good price for your site

Yes, you have to do this with all brokers. The fee is determined based on the value of the site.

I can't understand why is flippa asking us to pay for fees if they are going to get the broker fees?!! I ve' done all the steps of registration but I stopped when they started asking for money, it doesn't make sense, am not planning to throw my money in the air. let them do their work first and then ask for money!! Flippa is a NO NO for me.....let's see next....

For the exposure they give you to a huge audience, especially when selling and trying to get the largest buyer pool, absolutely worth it in my opinion.

You have to transfer them, or they have to create new ones and add codes as appropriate. It really depends on the situation. In most cases, they create new ones as opposed to transferring.
