Am I reducing the chances of earning ad revenue if my top sidebar ad unit it fixed 336x280 instead of responsive? I don't know how to do coding to make a responsive ad 336x280. If I use a responsive ad code, it makes the ad long and vertical and that results in a 20% lower AVV. Which is better??

I’m having a terrible time with Google Adsense and I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. In March I made $933 in earnings. In April it dropped significantly to $688 in earnings. In May, it dropped again to $297. Now I’m not even making one dollar per day. I have made lots of changes in formatting and code placement over these last couple of months trying to figure out what caused the decrease, but nothing is helping. My website traffic has increased, not decreased, so it’s not traffic. Plus, the impressions across the last three months in Google Adsense reports show an increase in impressions, as it should due to the increase in website traffic. So more traffic…more impressions…why the severe drop in earnings? I’ve been through the help forum and I am unable to see what is causing this and Google Adsense Support won’t reply to my email. You need to show people how to do it on non-WordPress, maybe I should, you don't need tools or plugins, or WordPress, just some knowledge. Now, you cant do the every 5 paragraphs thing or whatever, but, its not WordPress, but you can do something like that by hand by setting things up in a certain global placement with a set of conditions to your pasted placements. And still scale, but I'll try to do one in a day or so, I get so worn on out the played out WordPress, its great, use to lose wp before I became a fulltime coder. But, WordPress is seen as low budget, so depending what you do, wp isn't the answer. Thx for the vid...(sigh)

Wordpress is an absolute beast under the hood but the industry suffers from the false perception that wordpress is drag n drop.. its really really not ; its an absolute monster of giant complexity.. under the hood. BUT it is a superior tool.. vastly powerful and hugely flexible. Its still the king of webdev for most website applications. Its not too expensive to get a coder for basic coding adjustments to websites..
