My favorite song from this album for sure!! the latin fusion vibe is so catchy, as well as the guitar melody and chord progression! the way the guitar interacts with the brass stabs is magic! well done my friend of course... I enjoyed thoroughly!

I'm glad I chose your favorite song!😄 It's great! Both listening to and playing this song are enjoyable. When I watch Mr. Mukai's performance, the keyboard part looks quite busy.💦
Do you think you could cover “Ready To Fly” by Masayoshi Takanaka? Would love to see it, also great cover!

Yes, I probably can. I might need to slow down a bit though. By the way, how do you know that I recently started practicing "Ready to Fly"?😁

Do you know anything about the pickups that are used in this guitar? Are they made in house at Yamaha or are they a name brand, commercially available set? I’m trying to recreate this model as closely as I can without having to buy one, it’s just too expensive for me 😅

These pickups were developed by Yamaha specifically for the SG-I model. When I acquired the SG-I secondhand, I ordered the front and rear pickups directly from Yamaha and replaced them. This happened over 15 years ago, and even at that time, the availability of parts was limited, so it may be difficult to obtain them now. One distinctive feature is that the pole pieces of the rear pickup are usually located on the bridge side, but in this pickup, they are positioned on the neck side. Perhaps it's because Noro-san prefers a milder tone.😊
