Bradley Kenneth "Brad" Roberts (born January 10, 1964) is the lead singer and guitarist for the Canadian folk-rock band Crash Test Dummies. He sings in the bass-baritone range.
The Crash Test Dummies are a Canadian folk rock/alternative rock band from Winnipeg, Manitoba. The band is most identifiable through Brad Roberts (vocals, guitar) and his distinctive bass-baritone voice. The band members have fluctuated over the years, but its best known line-up consisted of Roberts, Ellen Reid (co-vocals, keyboards), Brad's brother Dan Roberts (bass guitar, backing vocals), Benjamin Darvill (harmonica, mandolin), and Mitch Dorge (drums, percussion). The band is best known for their 1993 single "Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm".
After a multi-year hiatus, the band returned in 2015 with a tour and the new charity single "Promised Land" which was a collaboration with Marc Mysterio following up his remix of their popular "Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm".

Fantastic! Love this song, brings back great memories of sitting there with headphones on as a kid being blown away by the lushness of this record, this song was my favorite, really gives you that pondering by the campfire feeling every time. I also watched the full band performance of it and it was just spot on. Love the paired down version here, being a guitarist myself I can really appreciate what Stewart did with this arrangement. Bravo!

Imagine a child, maybe 10 years old, listening to a cassette of some band his older brother listened to. He listens to this song and hears polyphonic tones, not knowing the existence of the word. Falls in, what he knows as love, with the song. 26 years later, as an adult; randomly hears this song. Now, a fairly intermediate musician/composer, still hears those harmonies. The melodies. Still loves it. Thank you so very much for this music. I absolutely dig this tune and don't be surprised if I ask your permission to release a cover.

It's weird how this sounds like a song a comedy band, like Ninja Sex Party, would make. It's taking a simple concept like camping and giving all of these insane scenarios that could happen while camping. I like it very much. It reminds me of classic KZfaq in a sense.
