OnePlus launched the OnePlus 12R in India starting at 39,999 Rupees for the 128GB base variant which comes with UFS 3.1 storage but the higher end variant with 256GB is equipped with the faster UFS 4.0 storage. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and comes with Oxygen OS 14 based on Android 14.

The Aquatouch coating is the biggest improvement to my eyes. Personally (I'm only talking about myself here, not for the masses), I don't mind the compromises this phone has. A good all-rounder with okayish cameras are my priority, and this phone fits the bill, especially with their battery.

@@yashsatarkar4141 At such a budget people generally are flexible with budget. If you do +3K IQOO 12 has way better camera than 12R. And if you go below 40K IQOO Neo 9 Pro will have better cameras. If 12R was 8-256 for 40K it would have been as solid as 11R, but now 256 is a necessity and 47K for 12R is not worth it, you can get OnePlus 11 itself around 50K

Yes, UFS 4.0 is more than twice as fast as UFS 3.1 in random read-and-write operations, so there will be a difference in app loading times and also in loading games.

I will stick to my oneplus 11 until it can not run anymore. Still running like new no bugs, super stable. Only have 98% battery life since buying in april. Phone is giving me 2 days with 8 hours of SOT.

UFS 4.0 Storage is made by Samsung which is currently available in 256 GB variant only that's why OnePlus is unable to pack it with 128 GB variant.

Sir, I bought OnePlus 12r just for good hardware and UI. I don't care about other gimmick things. I have 3 mi phones (note 5pro, 10pro and 9 power) all have motherboard issues and ui problems. Repairing shops are telling that don't buy mi phones. And I think cheap products like REALME and mi have hardware problems.
