I started watching your videos about 2 years ago, Flossy. I was admitted to hospital several times and had a 2 month stay at one point. I recently brought this phone. I’m using it heavily. I own the iPhone 15 pro and pixel 8. I use the OnePlus 12r the most now. It’s battery life is Good, I cant kill it by the end of the day.

This phone is awesome. Traded in my S23 FE at bestbuy and got the 16/256 variant for $270. Major go!!! Phone works awesome. Was facing alot of bugs and thermal issues with my S23 FE but no problems on the 12R. Thanks for the review Floss!!

You brought up a good point about availability Flossy. This is what a lot of people seem to overlook when it comes to smartphone brands. If I remember correctly, the U.S. is the third largest smartphone market in the world. No matter how good midrange phones from Xiaomi, Realme, Poco, and others are, it is not going to do any good if they are not available in the U.S. I wish we have more competition here, but I am glad that OnePlus is back on track.

IOS is smoother than Android is no longer a debate cuz Oneplus flagship phones are consistently 100% smooth all the time .. IOS can have occasional stutters and frame drops and freezes but this Oxygen OS of Oneplus is just next level. IDK how Oneplus did it.

Mid-range phones have got insane these days. I got my grandma a Moto edge 40 for 300€, basically $300, and she's been quite happy with it. It has everything other than a flagship chip and camera: screen is great, wireless charging, IP68, 68W wired charger in the box, good speakers, good cameras and performance... You can't go wrong with it. Before this she would usually cheap out on phones, so getting her one with a good mix of specs made her really happy. MSRP was normally 600 bucks, but it got halved in not even half a year on the market.

Flagship phones don't come with expandable storage anymore because it's easier to jack up the price for more precious gigabytes. You make great videos with a nice sense of humour and a great personality.

Welcome back, OnePlus. I was excited to get the OP12. But once, I saw the 12R I was very tempted to go for the R at that price. Crazy good deal. Camera is weaker, but it would be more than enough for me. But the full, fat OP12 is something else entirely. What a beast.

Im using this phone now. Great mid range phone. Speedy processing, fast charging, long lasting battery. What isnt my favorite is the lack of case selection, screen protectors selection, and curved screen but im nitpicking. I got the blue which is 16 gb ram but overall great phone and great review, Floss

Here in India, OnePlus is the real deal 🔥 I switched teams from Vivo to OnePlus in Dec, 2023 after being on Vivo for more than 4 years I brought the OnePlus Nord 3 and here's what I got in the box: • an 80W fast charger • a nice case • a pre-applied screen protector I have been using it for almost 2 months now and the experience is just amazing Long story short, I'm now a OnePlus fanboy

Must be some BS reason cos if you try moving a Google Widget to the left page on the home screen it says 'Google Widgets cannot be moved to the Quick Glance'.

Those cheap bastards can call it whatever they want economic stability and environmental protection. They can call it not using loads of plastic in their boxes but here’s what I’m calling it a rich company trying to save a bunch of money by ripping people off. I will never buy another phone without a charger in the box ever again as long as I live that means Apple included, I have the iPhone 13 pro and I have not upgraded my phone in the last two years because they don’t come with the charger. If they want me to upgrade they’re gonna have to put the charger in the box for the next one otherwise I will just keep what I have or I will switch brands entirely and get a OnePlus or a phone that actually comes with the materials I need, fuck these cheap bastards.

I'm loving my 12, really underrated phone having come out so close to the S24 Ultra. Currently rocking the 12 and a pixel 8 pro and am very content. I do miss Goodlock but having 2 phones for the price of the Ultra is pretty stellar

Great phone. I picked up this guy. The main lenses are really close on the 12 and 12r. Wireless charging doesn't matter to me when it charges so fast. Yes the display is lower resolution. For what I need it for, it works great for me. Thanks for reviewing this device.

it shouldve been at least a 4 major go!!!! this video was an insult and not appreciatove of all the amazing increduble shit you get for tgjs price!! an sd 8 gen 2, 5500mah baytery, android 17, no bezels, charger in the box, mega fast charging, 4500 nits, 455ppi,120hz, perfect biometrocs, software that was heavily optimized by oneplus, thought protection, 4k 60fps i feel like this man is too picky and spoiled for this phone, and forgot that it kills all phones if you dont need wireless charge and the latest processor (which is basically the same as last years) this IS the PERFECT PHONE everyone dreams about. its like buying a mansion for the price of a beer

Can we take a moment to really appreciate the content of Mr. Carter's reviews. He doesn't make the entire freaking review about the camera. He doesn't make it about how it compares to apple. He talks about the product he is reviewing. If you look at any other reviewer they will spend the entire length of the video talking about the camera. Great review Floss I went for the Ce3 lite as its 250 euros here in Malta, 12r starts at 700 so not worth for that price.Ce3 lite is a great value, ofcourse besides my Apple and Samsung flagships :)keep those honest reviews coming!

I still think Nothing Phone2 is a much better deal tbh. 12+256GB at ₹37k ($445) . Better and more refined software, better camera, better display, better design, glyph lights and wireless charging too. AND you save $110 compared to the 12R's 256GB variant!

Flossy, the phone manufacturers need to re-access the importance of the IR blaster. In some situations, there is no substitute for an IR blaster.

my only wishhhh is that i hoped the display was flat. thats it that would have made the phone perfect. Other than that it really is a beast phone at a great price. My mother is still rocking the 7T and phone is still crazy fast, original charger and battery lastv all day

This OnePlus 12R is the same phone as the OnePlus Ace 3 but the Ace 3 has 12 & 16 RAM and up to 1TB of storage for less than $600 on eBay. But Floss made it easy for me to buy this phone.
