This video shows how you can easily unlock the bootloader /OEM of your oneplus devices. this exact method works for all oneplus models. one file you needs google usd driver and platform tools. i tried to explain all steps in details. hope this video may help you guys to unlock the oneplus bootloader easily.

Has anyone tried this for an unlocked carrier model (T-Mobile)? I am waiting for an 'OEM unlock key" from OnePlus.. but looking at other options in case they take too long / dont get back to me.

Same here, just submitted unlock token application. Have you gotten yours yet ? They say it may take up to 2 weeks.

Oneplus don't need unlock key. Which model you are using..

No, there will be no issue with widevine L1. But before modifying the device, you can check you have which level of widevine. play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.androidfung.drminfo You can use the above app to check your widevine if it is showing L1 it is ok..but if it showing L3 then your firmware has some bug...you have to upgrade android version or wait till new update release. Till now i only found this widevine issue in oneplus 7 pro android 10...but when i upgrade to android 11. that issue was solved... widevine change to L1. This is a rare issue but you can try..

I got this message when entering the fastboot oem unlock command : FAILED (remote: 'Please flash unlock token first.') fastboot: error: Command failed. Does this mean that my phone is locked to a carrier and that I need their permission and an unlock token from them first?

First activate developer options, turn on oem unlock and usb debugging..then connect ur mobile to PC... reboot to bootloader and then use that command...

If your model is a T-Mobile variant it needs an unlock token. It's simply you go to OnePlus support and request a token. They request a bunch of info, verify it's not carrier locked and then give you the token. You flash the token via fastboot then send the unlock command.

When you try to connect via adb ..then RSA key is sent to the device for approval ..in order to connect the device via adb..or if you try to reboot to bootloader...without accepting RSA key .. you can't run further commands..so its necessary to approve the Token/RSA key.

Intenté otros dos guías diferentes y tampoco me desbloqueo el bootloader. Aunque el cell este sim/desbloqueado T-mobile ahuevo te tiene que dar un Token de desbloqueo creo. Estoy esperando el mio por correo ahora.

on some newer ones instead of fastboot oem unlock try 'fastboot flashing unlock'

when I write fastboot oem unlock it asks for a token what to do in this case, it was a t-mobile, but I reprogrammed it through tms to the global one, OnePlus 9 Pro T-Mobile (global) LE2123 Oxygenos 13.1 13android

First you have to give command. adb devices... Then it will ask for RSK key ..accept that and then run other commands.. fastboot oem unlock command should give in bootloader option...when device is in bootloader option there is no option to accept token... So your device should turn on to accept the token. You can follow exact video tutorials.

Hello, How can I unlock bootloader when the phone is not working ?? It can go to fastboot mode and luckily sometimes to recovery mode but nothing else. It just shows the logo and switches off. Please tell me is it possible to unlock the bootloader in such case. Or any other solution if you have.

No..to unlock the bootloader from setting > Developer option> your OEM and USB debugging should turned on and you have to accept RSA key while device is turned on..then you can only unlock the bootloader.. But you can use the unbrick tool to restore ur device..if your device dont have hardware issue...try ur luck.. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bZ19jLOW2d6zkpc.html Steps are all same..if you have different model like...7T or 7. Or 8. Jst download the correct file...all files links are in description.

You can format and try again..if still showing an error then you can use the unbrick tool to reflash the firmware..hope these steps may fix the issue .

Kindly watch the video properly.. As per error msg..you didn't turn on oem unlock option from the developer option. I had mentioned all step in video..
