As someone who has done everything you can in OneShot, I’m so excited to see other people playing such a wonderful game. I will admit, yeah PC feels like the best experience, but I like the nice backgrounds and other stuff that come with the fake desktop! I’d say it’s a nice trade-off!

This is one of the best video game experiences I've ever had and it's truly a once in a lifetime kind of game. If you have not played this game, I'm begging you to give it a try.

Wow, this really is it's own seperate edition. It looks like they'll be working the console into the narrative rather than just making a fake desktop and calling it a day. The new additions (like the wallpapers and bios) might even make this the definitive version of Oneshot.

I remember playing this back in August 2021, and it became one of my all-time favorites. Would erase my memory to replay this. For the best experience, don't look for anything about this game on the internet. It's best experienced on PC, although if you want to break the immersion and get this version first it's still a great game.

I can't recommend this game enough, this game seriously needs the attention it deserves its severely underrated

[Whoo! World Machine Edition!!!]

I discovered this game back in October of last year. Within just a few weeks of playing and finishing it, it became my second favorite game of all time. Everything about it is immensely well done. I have _never_ had a game get me so attached to a character as Niko. I've been waiting for the console release since it got announced back in December.

i love how compared to all of the indie world trailers posted individually, this has more than double the amount of views than all of the other trailers

This was fun. I'm really glad the Switch userbase is getting this deep cut. It's very cute, but also melancholy and unsettling enough to stimulate the mind without throwing horror and jumpscares at you and the pixel art for the scenery is top of the heap when it comes to the last decade of indie games.

The more people play Oneshot the better!

Wow crazy to see Oneshot getting a re-release and on console too! I remember playing this forever ago when it first released, it was always one of my favorite RPGmaker style games. Huge congratz to Night for this!

This is one of my favourite games, it has incredible meta aspects and some very loveable characters! I cannot wait to replay it and cry all over again the way I did with the PC version :')

the fact they managed to incorporate the aspect of finding or changing files on your machine into a switch through a mini virtual machine. amazing.

I know I'm just echoing other people here, but OneShot is by far one of my favorite games ever, I've never gotten so attached to a character as I have with Niko, and I truly enjoy that the game is getting such a polished treatment. Everyone should take a shot at this narrative.

Omg I love this, it's like DDLC+! It takes the meta elements of Oneshot and alters them for a console-friendly experience, while also adding a few extra features "outside" of the game.

Was a little sad about no Silksong, but this announcement more than made up for it

I am *so* getting this game once it comes out on Switch. It's one of vanishingly few games I've played that made me feel emotions. It was my Undertale.

One Shot deserved to have it's full trailer in the Indie World.

This feels like a game you double-down. If you played it back in the day (or late last year like me) on PC and you love it? You will buy it again to see what they add... It probably isnt much beyond info and gallery and music but... still. Don't look up more and just play it.

I played this game for the first time about a week ago, and seriously, it’s one of the best games I’ve ever played. I’m absolutely stunned how a game this good has gone unnoticed for so many years. I’d definitely recommend playing this on the pc first though, because it’s such an incredible experience on a desktop.

okay, so two things that i'm really noticing here, aside from the whole desktop thing: 1) stick control and diagonal movement?? 2) SOLSTICE TIMER??? Edit: upon rewatching, I have noticed that: a) the solstice timer is counting UP, not down? b) the solstice trio is also there?? what??

Okay so ive seen this charecter before but i know 0 about this game but the first 7 comments ive read so far tell me to watch nothing about this game which means its on omori/undertale ranks so im excited to get this

Even tho its great oneshot is getting a switch release, if you have acces to a pc, i would recommend playing it on there first. There are just a bunch of things that wont work as well on switch, but im curious to see how theyre gonna implement them!

A friend of mine was like, "Try this game" up until that point, his recommendations had been hit or miss with me. I liked some and disliked others. Then he recommended One-shot. I have 80 hrs

The clock at 1:26 originally counted down the days before the solstice ending was added real time, perhaps that means that the game is gonna release 83 days from now, on august 2nd give or take cause I am not accounting for the extra hours, just the amount of days

Not only did they add a fake desktop to make the game playable on console, but they also added in character bios for all the characters too. I am so glad that the game is accessible to even more people now.

It's pretty cool how OneShot was successfully ported over to the Nintendo Switch. Knowing that they made a whole "OS" for the port, it might as well work for every platform. Pretty neat!

BUT CAN THE WORLD MACHINE RUN CRYSIS edit: After further research, I have found out that it cannot run Crysis. Crysis requires at least an Intel Pentium 4 processor (or AMD Athlon 2800+), which has a speed of 2.8 GHz. Taking a look at the stats at the beginning of the bootup, The World Machine uses a YTEC Y-4430M processor, which only has a speed of 1.65 GHz. Crysis 2 requires an Intel Core 2 Duo at 2 GHz (or AMD Athlon 64 x2 at 2 GHz), which YTEC Y-4430M processor still does not reach. Crysis 3 requires an Intel Core 2 Duo at 2.4 GHz (or AMD Athlon 64 x2 at 2.7 GHz), which is again too high for the World Machine to run. Finally, Crysis Remastered requires an Intel Core i5-3450 at 3.1 GHz (or AMD Ryzen 3), which is too high for the YTEC Y-4430M processor to meet those standards, even with overclocking. This means that the World Machine cannot run any game in the Crysis franchise.

It's been years since I've played this game... but to this date I have no uninstalled this game. I made Niko a promise and I intend to keep it. As long as my PC works, Niko shall live on.

This version looks cool but doing the puzzles on your own computer made you connect more with the game imo. I still like how it looks and hope for a pc version of this.
