There are a lot of good reasons NOT to join the United States Air Force Special Warfare career fields, and we have heard all of them. The team decided to get together and make sure you know all facts.
We are really looking forward to the folks that can't read sarcasm and satire and figuring out when we are poking fun. We will help you out- we are making fun of lots of the gripes that we have heard that don't make sense to us.
What reasons did we miss? Drop them in the comments.

Aaron at 23:16 is like: weird voice acting -> looking ready to murder -> fluffy, in under 10 seconds flat, lol. Except it's always like that. Aaron's chaos factor is off the charts.

This Jarhead laughed super hard. I was in back in '90. And it was tough, but my all time favorite throughout all the service's is the, "I would have joined but I couldn't handle a D.I. yelling at me, I would have laid him out flat"...

I just want to say that you did a great job covering this! I don't think I'm a good fit for Pararescue because I can't do Pull Ups properly and I lack Water Confidence. Another thing to point out is that most people who join the Air Force aren't physically fit like the Army, Navy, and Marine Corps so that's another reason why no one is doing Special Warfare in the Air Force. But I respect anyone that goes through Special Warfare in the Air Force! But like always, keep up with the awesome content! 🔥

Well, you need to go yourself, baby boy. You gonna have you battle buddy talk to your Sargent or chain of command for you. No, you must put your big boy pants on. You think they want a soldier where Mommy does everything for them. Especially when you need a waiver. Get up and go talk to them yourself. Ahahaa

Seems this is a great Podcast to throw out this BS in the comments. This originated circa late 1960s (after 1966). Lots of deployments including no-notice deployments to support manned space program and other operations back and tasked missions back then during the 1960s. SCUBA qual became a career AFSC core skill level award and retention requirement in 1963, which is why there is some dive qual references regarding dive watches and dive knifes. HQ AF approves PJ beret in 1966. BTW, each has some stories that can be and are often told at the PJ social gatherings. Originally only mentioned flight or jump pay as although technically one could be paid one of the any special duty qual pays duties were being performed, most PJ chose the one that paid the most dollars. Dual hazardous duty pay authorizations and SDAP didn't get approved until 1984. Titled the USAF Pararescueman: AS SEEN BY HIMSELF: A tall handsome guy, a highly trained competent professional, a female idol, maroon beret wearing, diving knife carrying gentleman who is always on time thanks to his Rolex watch. AS SEEN BY HIS BOSS: A fine specimen of a drunken, truck stealing, brass, brawling, woman corrupting liar with a maroon beret, Rolex watch and a diving knife who performs duties vital to the ultimate survival of downed aircrews and others who are injured on the battlefield. AS SEEN BY HIS WIFE: A seldom seen member of the family who comes home once in a while with a bag full of dirty laundry, an empty wallet, stale booze on his breath and hot pants. AS SEEN BY HIS SQUADRON AND WING COMMANDERS: A drunken, brawling, truck stealing, woman corrupting liar with a maroon beret, Rolex watch and a diving knife who is known for doing things such as painting “green feet” on water towers. AS SEEN BY MAINTENANCE: A waste of tax payer’s money, plays with toy trucks, gets drunk on two beers, always broke when it’s his turn to buy, gone a lot, fun wives, starts fights with other drunks, cannon fodder, can identify difference between a HC-130 and a helicopter two out of three times, second after maintenance on woman at parties, admired by other PJs, too dumb to do own laundry, late for WAPS testing because he can’t read his Rolex Watch, carries a diving knife in a purse, and can be easily identified by the red condemned tag on his head. AS SEEN BY SUPPLY: An overpaid Prima Dona who is allowed by policies and allowance source codes to procure anything he wants, must be issued a Rolex watch and diving knife, always trying to corrupt the woman, wears a funny red hat and lies a lot. AS SEEN BY FINANCE: An overpaid individual that is not worth the paper his paycheck is printed on; works harder chasing woman, gambling and drinking away his pay than he does earning flight, dive, jump and pro pays. AS SEEN BY USAF HEATH SERVICES: An overpaid delusionary individual that believes he is: (1) an indispensable highly trained medic because he gives rescued aircrews a drink of water and a Band-Aid; and (2) a devastatingly attractive man who fascinates women. Has access to too many drugs, wears a funny red hat and lies a lot. AS SEEN BY HQ USAF: An overpaid, over ranked tax burden that is indispensable because he has volunteered to go anywhere and do anything as long as he can booze it up, brawl, steal trucks, corrupt woman, lie, wear a maroon beret, Rolex watch and a diving knife.

The difference between enlisted leadership concepts and officer leadership concepts is officer leadership is bound to the Great leader theory of a leader is born concept that has been replaced with the great leader is learned in moral, ethics, and philosophies gained from academic achievement. Thus, it flows NCO being from the unlearned population aren't worthy to lead or even interact as a subleader to the leader until they get properly educated. So, the question arising from the presented assertions is it a baffle with BS style argument or a Gish Gallop style argument. Perhaps it's an answer only your hair stylist can disclose. (a hair joke)

If I was back in my 20's I would try out for the afsoc pipeline and have a fall back on as an af mechanic if I'd fail it but I'd mainly stay in to pump, dump and jizz n a few air force chicks and post it on the hub Seriously I'd think jtacs and tacps make great amateur radio operators, operating CW on HF radios and other radios.
