The no returns policy doesn't mean no repairs. If the old motor works, it's something in the new, they should be willing to do something, regardless of your riding it to a nosedive. These things generally last longer than a single nose dive, no matter the speed. Good luck

We had about 20 something motor broken in customers hand, we just send the customer with a new motor for free, even new tires included, I didnt know FM can make such big profit fixing a product that is already overpriced.I guess we are total simps for our customers, joke aside this seems to be that stupid ass motor plug acting up, why would you use a 2mm connector for 100A motor current, that is engineered to be a fail point, maybe it is designed to break right after warranty, that motor plug is either pure eveil or just stupid.

If you do a free wheel spin on the GTS motor on the GT the free wheel spin is around 30-31 miles an hour on the GT

That happened to my gt when i hooked up my wtf rails. Alls i did was unplug the motor and plug her back in and push pretty hard. Mustve not had a good connection. Maybe thats your prob?

The 5-inch hub is definitely the best choice here. Not only is it $200 more affordable, but it also provides equal, if not superior, performance. Additionally, it offers enhanced cushioning. I highly recommend opting for the N48 magnets along with the 5-inch hub.

My thoughts. I'm just cleaning my Begode MTEN4 thinking about which EUC to buy next. My Pint is dead, and I'm not going back to FM until they have replaceable batteries. Or I become rich. Hmm I have to get something to make the wheel shiny again...

Error 6 with stuttering while starting to move is often a hall sensor issue, either a bad connection in the plug, port, pcb, or the sensor itself could have moved out of its slot on the edge of the pcb during the nosedive impact. If FM claims it was caused by your crash, that isn't covered. They typically do not open things up to find the actual problem, just check to see if it passes a test and if not then they will replace the whole thing. Since they won't know what the failure is by looking at the exterior, what are the odds that they will decide it was due to a factory defect versus due to your crash that is not covered? Good luck, but I would open it up and try to find the failure myself unless FM commits to replacing it for free before you ship it to them. If they won't, you might as well try to inspect it for a simple fix before sending it to them.

sounds like one wires to hall sensor disconnected. , check em all with multimeter. probably just need to resolder it.

I predict they give you a new motor after you return that one. They will see this video and find your order and replace your motor. But if you didnt make the video there would be very little chance of replacement imo. Thats my prediction anyway.

Yeah putting that on a stock gt is going to lower the top speed. Jeff just detailed this but I suspected as much from the fm shills touting all of the benefits and not commenting at all on the top speed ramifications. That said I do not miss any of the FM nonsense since switching to vesc 2 years ago.
