In this video you will be watching an upgrade happen, pretty much an upgrade that is compatible almost to a GT. I went through some stress, a great lesson and there's nothing better then to learn how to DIY. I will show you all the process of this upgrade in this vid and what to do. Some measures from the cutting sections of the video have to be a bit more, such as the bottom part where the extra cell goes.

Thanks man, although it wasn’t compatible with my XR due to firmware I had a lot of fun doing it and getting it done. Make sure you check the other videos out of me taking it to StokeLife Services.

Dang man! Great job. I had the extended battery installed on my XR with the chip. Range is out of this world! Unfortunately had an 'error 16' message show up 400 miles later. Board is in the shop now hopefully getting fixed.

Yeah me too, Ima drop a video of the mistake I did of not knowing about the Chip, the flux movement Installed mine. Error 16 codes can be a lot of things tho, check your 16 pin connector for any debris or maybe your battery harness might have gotten damaged . Good luck man 🤙🏼

And thank you by the way, it was hard work. Took me almost 3 or 4 hours to get it done. I’m experimenting with my board so anything will take a long time

Do you know if this battery is compatible with the onewheel GT? I can't seem to find one for it but also wondering if the battery from the XR will work for the GT

To be completely honest with you, I believe GT has its own type of battery, I CBXR battery wouldn’t be compatible but I can be wrong . Haven’t looked that deep into it. I just did this upgrade to my board because I figured since there’s a way to convert XR into GT why not. But hopefully you can find the right answer to your question man . Float on dude
