It never fails to astound me how quickly Ding Dong can go from a serious tone to an over the top goofy tone. Chris is always kind of out of it, Julian is pretty neutral, but Dingus has like a Jekyll and Hyde thing going on.

The concept of Slam City isn't terrible, the real issue here is a clear lack of direction, lack of explanation of how things work and the game lacking context on what you're supposed to do. When you really get down to it, this is like a weird version of Dragon's Lair. The game is expecting you to do specific things but isn't providing any context on what it wants. If they had maybe made the controls and mechanics more clear and obvious it wouldn't have been so bad. Of course, thinking about it, the lack of direction and context is probably what the developer wanted, maybe to make it "harder". Weaponized incompetence is a terrible thing.

I think so. I imagine it's because you're forcing defenders to forfeit their ground coverage when a player does a jump shot (because they can't block the shot if they themselves don't jump). If you could fake defenders into jumping every single time, scoring would be piss easy.
