Be very careful about companies that obsess over minors. Source wants people born after 2007, that’s under 16s, these companies may seem safe BUT when you’ve barely hit puberty, you are easily manipulated by such organisations. Be very careful when choosing and make sure your parents are okay with it because once you’re in, you normally rarely get to contact them

I think bite me and all night is really easy + bite me doesn't has high note if the song doesn't has high note there our chances that judge ask u to sing a song with high note ( if they our interested in ur audition)

I choosed all night because it's a song Wich a can show good facial expressions, energy, and Body balance, I have to agree that the 'all night challenge' choreography is really easy, but the original choreography is not that easy and have fast legs moves and detailed arms movement. All night ends up becoming a choreography that requires a lot of energy, strength and motor coordination on both the arms and legs. Thank you for your feedback:))

Can you brief on the process?

@@rinha06all you do is sing or dance and submit, that’s it. If they want you to have a second audition, they will contact you (there is no time frame, it can literally take YEARS like in Minho’s case). It’s a very simple process, the only tricky bit is if you get asked to go to Korea, it’s up to you to pay for everything and get there, if you can’t get there then they literally don’t care and will either let you hold off on going straight away or just tell you to try again when you can afford to go etc if you’re lucky, they will pay (only if you’re amazing) or they will sign you after another online round (very rare)

Tip to pass: be good at singing and dancing. You can’t ask how long it will take. It’s up to the company and they don’t have to even accept you if they don’t like you so you will never know. The gap between round 1 and 2 is the longest, it can literally take years. You need to worry about being good at your chosen skill, not the time it takes them because they could never reply to your first audition. After you get round 1 accepted, you normally get asked to go for an in person audition (depends on the company and how they feel for your audition), this then is a faster progression and if there is a third round then it’s not long after (usually a few days or weeks), fourth round is uncommon since even the hardest places like SM only have 2/3 rounds. Once you pass all rounds, you sign the trainee contract, if you get this far, don’t be stupid and just sign it straight away, you need to read EVERYTHING. They can and will have some loopholes in there that benefit them and not you. Sometimes you even have to pay if you break any rules of your contact, you need your parents with you to go over it with you if you’re a minor. Whilst you’re waiting for the audition rounds, it’s up to you to find a place to stay and Korea doesn’t like foreigners that much so it’s easy to get scammed when looking for a place to rent for a month or so, so make sure you can afford to go to your next round audition. Once you’ve signed the contract, you’re a trainee and you’re the property of the company (literally you are more of a slave than an employee, you are the bottom of the ladder and unless you’re super popular and good, you’re literally just a number to them). Make sure you read into everything so you don’t get into a bad contract, trainee contracts can be a few years long and sometimes if you leave early you have to pay depending on the company so choose wisely and make sure you feel confident in the company. Some companies are known for a certain vibe (YG is cool kid, jyp is young kids, sm is more mature and cool/relatable kids) as long as you don’t do dances that really don’t fit with anything the company has produced, you’re fine. Songs to sing depend on your skills, it’s good to try hard and a song that shows more vocal vibrancy but don’t push yourself to a song that you know you can’t sing well, it’s better to be confident than to be doubtful. Confidence and strong personalities really help auditions like this. I had a friend who has the voice of an Angel, she was accepted onto X factor after 4 audition rounds, because she wasn’t confident, they don’t her no in the last round before the tv audition because she was too shy even though her voice is so beautiful it made our class in drama school CRY. Dancing tip: when you finish learning the dance, practice it again and focus on where your body goes, think ab oh r where you put your arms and legs when they’re not moving, this makes you look cleaner and sharp and it can attract their attention and make you pass

⁠@@GhirmayAbraha-wq4dvif you’re a trainee (signed the contract) you move into dorms with other trainees and you’re spilt into training groups. You only have to pay for your own accommodation when you’re doing the auditions and waiting for the results/waiting for the next round, once you’ve passed and sign a contract, you have to leave the country so you can change your visa status to E6 and then once the visa process is complete, welcome to your new trainee life in dorms

A lot of people also don’t realise that Korea is not very welcoming to foreigners so the culture shock can be HUGE. That plus the fact you’re now trapped in a company that sees you as an asset and not a person can be very hard for some people and it creates intense anxiety and stress. It’s best to really think deeply about it because for some people, training is okay but the culture shock gets to them and they have to quit. I’d recommend auditioning anyway though and just seeing where it takes you, it lets you get used to it and can help you improve. It won’t hurt to audition, the only time you need to worry is if you pass and get asked to go to an in person audition, THIS is actually quite expensive since you need you and your parents if you’re not a legal adult to get plane tickets, accommodation for 2-4 weeks and then extras spending money. I’ve known some people get as far as 2nd round in Korea but then not accept any more rounds because they realised it wasn’t for them as soon as they experienced it but then I’ve known ex trainees who’s contracts expired and they left because they felt lost and forgotten about or just got bored, definitely give it a go!!

I am not an expert but i think you can put the photo but it must not be blury and if you're auditioning for source music is from waist down i think please correct me if I'm wrong it's my opinion and this is what I think I may be correct or wrong😅

Wear whatever tf you want BUT make sure it doesn’t distract from your skill. If you look at dance videos from studios, you can see the types of casual and comfy clothes people wear, this is what you should look for. Try not to wear super baggy clothes because then you can’t see your lines (dance body lines are important). Literally a crop top and some joggers is perfect, you just need to be good at the routine you do

Why are you scared i know you are afraid that you are not going to pass the audition but you will regret it do it please chase for your dream it's gonna be hard as a trainee but it's worth it you will be on stage for millions who loves you who adores you you will inspire thousands of people or even millions have that mindset i will love to see you on stage and I think I'm not the only one do it now you got to choices yes or yes do it ❤

You need an e6 visa to be a trainee, you can only get this if you sign a trainee contract as it’s a sponsored visa. You cannot change visa in Korea, if you get a contract, you have to leave the country and come back to change visa status. You go there on a tourist visa which is relatively cheap and fast to get, if you don’t have a passport, don’t bother auditioning because passports can take several months to be ready sometimes and they won’t help you get a passport as it’s your responsibility. Round 1: online, round 2: can be online or in person, round 3: in person and if you already had an in person audition from round 2, you don’t have to worry but if they ask you to go to Korea, you will tell them your situation but if you can’t get there for a few months, they might tell you to reapply when you have valid travel documents so you will have to start from round 1 again. Some might give you the details of a staff member to contact if you already started your documents and are waiting so you can contact them and tell them when your travel docs are ready so they can arrange dates for your next rounds. But in reality, they don’t really care about people auditioning unless they really stand out because thousands of people apply everyday so 99% of the time, they won’t try really really hard to help you get there
