I never thought it'd be this easy. But I just asked my papa that can I audition. He said yes you can. And asked what audition. I said that it's an kpop audition and explained everything. i was actually rlly scared but I managed to gain some courage and I asked my mom. To my surprise, my mother was rlly chill and she said ok if that's what you want. Yesterday, I told my mom abt the YG audition that's gonna happen in my country, and she said that I can go and audition! I'm so happy! So, to those ppl who are scared to ask your parents, just calm down and who knows, maybe they'll allow you! good luck!! :)

When I was like 11 I thought really something like "OH MAAAN I WANT TO MEET BTS!1!1!!1!", but then I grew up a little, I understood that they aren't like aliens, but just people who made it, and that obviously everyone admires them for that. They are called "idols" for a reason, because they got through a lot, the early audition, the trainee years, the stress and the bad things. I realized that just looking at that part of kpop and say "yeah, I know that it will be difficult", is like saying you can play basketball because you've seen it in TV, it's not how it works, when you audition you're really stepping into a dark place without a little light source. I still want to audition, but the "Oh man I wanna meet bts" part has become just a consequence, because first of all I like singing and I liked it for all my life, my brother sometimes shouts at me making me laugh because "YOU'VE SANG FOR THE PAST FOUR HOURS CAN YOU PLEASE SHUT THE F*CK UP?!!"🌚🌚 I started with classical dance when I was 5 y.o. So I learned so much, and I'm thinking about asking to my mother if I can get hip hop private lessons, and next year I will start taking serious singing ones. I always thought my voice was ugly and a curse because I always looked up at sopranos (I don't know if they are called like that even abroad sorry I'm Italian😂) and thought "whooah they can reach those high notes and make people getting goosebumps", because I am a contralto, so my voice is actually really blues and deeeeep😩. But then I practiced a lot until I could reach powerful high notes too. I think that having this voice extention is really a bless, and I don't hate anymore my voice. But on the dance part...I sent to my father the first piece of the choreography of "boy meets evil", and I started learning like 2h before I sent it, but it wasn't so bad at all, and he asked me first, so i sent it to him because of that. Then he replied that I have to focus on things more seriously, that I'm not good at dancing, that I'm practically wasting my time- DAD I JUST PRACTICED IT FOR TWO HOURS, LET ME BREATHE!! The funny thing is that I've sent it to my dance teacher and she said it was actually good🙃😅. Anywaaaays I still want to audition and this time because I want to become an idol, not to meet some people 💪💪💪💪

Omg this helped so much! thank you. I started getting interested in kpop about a few months ago, and i just love the style, the music, the colors and tones, just everything about it. I have always had an interest in the entertainment industry since a young age like 6. I am currently acting on stage and singing. I find that I have always been a dancer, so thats another plus. And even if I drop out of training or something happens, I would aspire to become an actor. I'm very motivated in things that I enjoy, no matter how harsh. And I dream of becoming a K-pop singer/idol/you know what i mean. I'm currently starting to study korean, and I feel like I'm gonna train at home for maybe a year, till I'm thirteen to audition but thank you. In my opinion people need to understand that this is very important and serious topic. It's about your future career and life . I will continue to sing and dance in high school as I did it when I was a main vocalist in a dancer group (age of 10- folklore dancing), being the "first pair" Tbh I was so scared when my sister just went into the front, and started waving to those 60 people and completely forgot about the whole choreo :""D I will wait, when I will be 18/19 make myself at least financially stable, have more knowledge about life. It is my ult goal and my mom knows this... All my dance teachers always tell my mom that I have serious potential and talent and that I should do something with it. Thus I told my teacher ab auditioning and she was so excited so we told my mom and she was 100% positive🤗 I really want to become and idol it's been my dream to be a dancer and a singer since I was 3-4. My dad doesn't know this bc he never supported this career no matter what kind of awards and shows I won... Idk how my mom and I will tell him but I've already auditioned twice for 5 companies 😊

You actually help me a lot with all this, I found your channel just a few days ago probably a week and for the first three days I only saw your video bcuz of your calming voice and good accent in english, but now I am seeing your videos for actual tips not fun. I really like how you just say the truth bcuz honestly that`s how it is! I actually already told my parents about this, I have asked for classes too but they denied and the reason is personal so I won`t say that but I was really thinking that I need to show them my dancing skills so that they can see the potential in me but I was kinda afraid but as you told, that it is best to show your talents and potential, so I am gonna do that, I am going to my 9th grade on June 5th and I am gonna get good marks so that my dad could put me in singing classes until I finish my 10th and once my 10th is done, I am gonna turn 16 on April 4th and I will audition but for that I have to convince my parents and I was thinking to join HYBE for many reasons, like how their idols are usually all-rounders type not to meet my faves, I actually never knew that people audition to see their idols! lol how ridiculous!! I really have passion for this and my will do my best to get good grades i 10th also bcuz if I won`t be able to be an idol, I know what else I can become and for a job my 10th grade marks are important, my mom got 65% but I wanna get higher! ok, back to the topic, so I will join JYP instead bcuz he is gonna pay for the flight? and I am a good dancer and JYP always has good dancers, so I would be great for that company...I will try learning to rap on my own and convince my dad to put me into singing classes, about dancing....I am a self taught dancer, I dace to a lot of k-pop girl group dances and recently started boy groups to improve myself more...and believe me or not, I have gained so much of body control compared to myself when I was in 2022 4th of April and before~ so I am happy for that as well. Why I wanna be a k-pop idol is: It is my dream, I wanna inspire people, I want to make people happy trough my music, I love to dance and I would love to try out the things k-pop idol do for daily life and make it habit [like singing, rapping, mv shooting, recording], I have a lot of passion for it like if I want to die, I would love to die as a trainee at least...I would then die in peace that at least I tried to chase my dream as much as I could!, it is something I would be happy to do and can do it forever! Then the Seungri thing happened and then she found out about the Shinee member who committed suicide and then she was like 'you ain't going to be an idol'....She said I was obsessed just because I was watching a bunch of K-Dramas and downloaded many lean Korean apps just to learn Korean and then I kept asking her and she just kept saying no...so that's how I ended up here

Becoming a K-pop Idol to see my favs never crossed my mind, I really am passionate about it, I love singing and dancing b4 getting into K-pop, my Mom has seen me taking vocal lessons and learning choreos, she herself wants me to take dance lessons and motivated me to cover a choreo while she records me, she also knows I'm learning the Korean language, but she doesn't know it's all just a step to audition she doesn't know anything about K-pop actually 😁 but I think she's going to agree with me, I mean I hope, 'cause if I don't get accepted I have 12 more self picked careers to rely on. Luckily I would be graduating from high school this year at the age of 15 should have graduated last year but my Mom made me repeat a grade 🤷‍♀️ So not too old.
