I have a very exciting announcement! Many of you have been asking for a detailed, step by step, and beginner friendly online course to learn the skills demonstrated in this channel, in the same easy to understand instruction that you have been enjoying.
After a lot of time organizing and preparing, it's done! The first course of the series to completely teach Yang family Tai Chi Internal Power, no secrets held back. Possibly the first course ever published online to fully reveal everything. And it's most likely the easiest course to understand! Those of you who have been following the channel know what I mean by that last part.
I hope you enjoy this course and grow a lot as you learn to explore Tai Chi at a deeper level. Because Tai Chi is absolutely amazing and I want you to fully experience that too.
And I want to thank all of you for your support, encouragement, feedback, and above all, excitement. Because it is the thought of how happy people will be and how excited you'll feel as you develop these skills, that keeps me motivated during the less-fun parts of editing and uploading. And now that it's done I'm very proud of what we've accomplished!
So thank you, and enjoy this course, because this course is for you.

I signed up for the course. At first I was a little skeptical. I just finished lesson 4 and for me I think it's worth every penny. To be honest, I learned from a Sifu for 10 years and have never had this kind of knowledge. My Sifu can do what was shown on the videos but the knowledge or exercises were never passed on to me nor my fellow students. Everything we learned was just very physical and mechanical. Thanks Sifu Lin.

Thank you so so much for sharing this! I'm very happy to hear that you find it to be worth every bit of your investment. And I'm glad to be able to help you find the guidance you've always wanted, because that is totally the intention of these courses. I hope your next comment will be you sharing your success with the skills in the training videos! 🎉 Thank you again. I appreciate it! 🙏

Just a little sceptic but after the quick answer from Chester, the teacher, i subscribed or better i purchased because there is really a "life long" access! I am completely excited and satisfied with this great teaching and the nice and kind teacher! So i discovered finally not all tai chi teachers are so dead serious i have experienced before! What a deep understanding and transmitting of knowledge, insights and experience has this course given me even in the first 3 Modules! Every Tai Chi practitioner should get this course.....

Wow. Those are exactly my questions. Respect and thank you very much. I believed and still believe this is real so with the right guideness it should definitely work. I also believe it cannot be that simple because I study it for 15 -20 years , but unfortunately only through KZfaq videos mostly as well as a few books that have only taught me theory. But I still must be really stupid not to know the key by now. So so I hope the right guidance is the only way to the key and that no one actually wanted to publish the right guidance so far... So thank you I'm looking forward to it

I admire your dedication and you are exactly the type of person I thought of as I was inspired to make this course. Because beyond you, you have seen many other people struggle for so long. And yet it is entirely possible. Because I've seen people succeed, in much shorter times, while enjoying that journey. Students in this video are 1-2 years of experience. And I have visitors who study with me for a few days, and once they receive the guidance and gain the understanding, perform the same demos in just those few days. They often go home to amaze their prior students and colleagues with the change in their skill. I cannot speak for anyone else, why they have not yet taught what needs to be taught, or why they have not succeeded in transmitting it. But internal skill is something that can be taught in an enjoyable and effective way. And I look forward to seeing a new generation of Tai Chi practitioners benefit from it, and show the world how wonderful Tai Chi can be. Thank you for sharing your comment! I hope as you succeed in the course you'll come back and tell people what you learned and what you experienced! 🙌🙏

First of all, thank you for sharing your knowledge! I have a question concerning this course, do you use energy building exercises (Qi Gong/ Nei Gong) to build the skill shown in this trailer?
@phoenixmountaintaichi
@phoenixmountaintaichi 14 күн бұрын
That's a great question! The answer is that these skills are the preparation skills for the energy building that you will do later. Because the main obstacle to building energy is tension. And the main reason for tension is discomfort and doubt, doubt that you can have an effect, doubt that you can move someone without muscling them. So in fascia mastery, you learn that by sensitivity alone, you can overcome even very big very resistant persons. Then in Song Mastery, you learn to deepen your capacity by releasing all tension that you may not yet realize you have, but can find, and appreciate the difference that makes. Now we will have risen above doubt, and discomfort, into real relaxation. After which I will teach the Yang Family's hidden Qigong practices to build the Qi. And when you apply energy to the skills you've built up it will be all the more effective. You can consider that fascia mastery is like learning to steer a car. Song is like tuning a car to have very little friction, very good alignment. And then we do the Qigong and turn the engine on. And then what happens? Then we're off to the races. 😃 Thanks for the question and an opportunity to explain all this. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Osteocytes are a type of bone cell that plays a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of bone tissue. They are responsible for maintaining bone homeostasis by regulating the balance of bone resorption and formation. In short, putting a load on the bone makes them stronger, if you are healthy. Does Chi Kung stimulate Osteocytes?
@phoenixmountaintaichi
@phoenixmountaintaichi 12 күн бұрын
Some qigong methods improve bone health, and those qigongs probably do interact with your physiology in a way that stimulates bone tissue. This course does not emphasize this. This course is primarily about sensitivity and awareness of fascia in yourself and other persons. For practices with a bigger emphasis on your physical health and bone health, check out the next course on 'Song' mastery, upcoming courses on Golden Bell qigong, or the classical Yijinjing. Other great things you can do for your bone health today is loading your bones with pressure. Pushups and squats are great for this! We discuss how to do them in a Tai Chi consistent manner in course 2, 'Song' Mastery. But you can start improving your health now by watching some good tutorials on proper exercise form and begin to benefit your health today! If you have severe issues with your bone health make sure you check with your physician before starting any new exercise regime!

Does this course have certain types of stretching exercises
@phoenixmountaintaichi
@phoenixmountaintaichi 12 күн бұрын
Great question! The first module teaches exercises to help you discover how to sense and use the elastic quality of your fascia. Beyond the first module the emphasis is on awareness of fascia and how to control another person's force and balance. You will develop a great feel for Tingjin in push hands and applications. Essentially, you will learn to do everything you see in this video! The upcoming second course on Song Mastery will have quite a bit of exercises to stretch, release, and strengthen your fascia that will take the skill you build in this course and enhance it with a level of health and internal strength that you'll probably find delightfully surprising! Thanks for the great question!

Hi Eric, our weekly classes are held in Thousand Oaks, CA. Your enrollment includes 2 free sessions to attend and practice with myself and our students. If you establish a relationship and would like to continue to meet up with my students beyond our usual class times, I'm sure they would love having more people to play Tai Chi with!

it interesting. How 'Fascia' training has become the buzz word. 20+ years ago, nothing of it mentioned outwardly in martial art media :)

Totally! Anatomists used to think fascia was just junk tissue, and surgeons would remove and discard it without any mind to it. Today, it is a major topic of research in kinesiology and physical therapy. There's so much that we don't scientifically know about our bodies yet, and our bodies can do so much without our full understanding. So it makes sense that the answers to how this happens, may lie exactly where we have previously neglected, does it not? I experience this sometimes where I can't find my keys before I leave the house. I search everywhere, twice, thrice, and I'm about to give up. And then I go... Could it be in the... refrigerator? No... Impossible ... But I check out of desperation, and there it is! So I wonder what we will understand in the future that we pay no attention to now? It'll be fun to see. 😃

@@phoenixmountaintaichi Its actually within old music training too (once, held within old music Conservatories). After first, building basic muscle strength, movements and flexibility. The concept of 'relaxed playing' is explored and refined. Where you aim to use more gravity and less pure muscle, to power movements. This training leads to using fascia, tendon and joints. Over pure muscle usage. It also means you can play multiple, long, classical pieces. Without burning your muscles out (or having to take breaks between pieces). It also greatly increases your muscle twitch response times. And, stops things like Tendonitis happening too. Peace.

@@MoodymongulThat's super interesting! Growing up, I had a piano teacher who probably was trained in those old ways, and she made me do endless basic training. She didn't bother explaining the principles behind it to 10yr old me though ha ha. It does seem to develop "gungfu" though. I can take over 100wpm even though I don't formally practice piano much these days ha ha. Thank you for sharing. I love learning about the principles between different practices and seeing how everything is related! 🙏
