That grounded Bowser bomb thing happened to me 3 times at the end of a match. I still have no idea why though. It looks like they get grounded sometimes but that shouldnt affect the knockback

I think it's they get hit by it, it spikes them into the ground, and they cancel a lot of the knockback with LSI, which reduces the launch distance of stage spikes dramatically.
