If you have an old capacitor leakage tester you can repurpose it as an LED tester. I use to use a Sencore LC-53 when I did old picture tube TVs a long time ago. The LC-53 has a voltage selector that can be switched up to 600volts that is current limited to 20ma. It won't damage LEDs but it will give you a jolt if you come in contact with it

Watching your videos has helped me fix a few tvs already that I've saved from the landfill. Signed up for the course to learn more and maybe take this a bit further.

Just prepare them to know it's mostly dead bulbs & defective boards that cause a bulk of the problems & are usually easily repairable.

Will the course be going over how to use an oscilloscope and some other equipment and or tools to diagnose and repair televisions ?

The power button does nothing and the TV remote does nothing. Just unplugging it and plugging back in turns it on or off

If I had a bonding machine I could fix a lot of panel issues. Samsung is the worst one If its a SAMSUCK edge light don't even try just throw it in the garage. They burn up the diffuser screen unless you have a stockpile of diffuser screens from old Samsung TVs that power cycle due to defective panels you can take the diffuser out to fix a burned up Samsung but you still have to order LEDs. The best TV to repair quickly is TCL, LG, HISENSE, if you know how to change LEDs. Be careful not all are LED related for example there are a few models that mimick bad LEDs but it's not LEDs its a bad 10uf 450volt capacitor on a certain model TCL. I wish I could get schematics of the power supplies its rough trying to trace a problem on the board. Chinese made power supply and other boards are cheap enough to replace as a whole so if you're doing it as a business try not to spend too much time repairing a board on it at $65.00 an hour shop labor unless you're dealing with a Sony $$$. You think they'd learn their lesson a long time ago but they're still over engineered even today I hate Sony's for that reason. I can fix them but I don't like them
