I didn't make mine as big (I wanted to use scraps fabric) or use fleece because it's just a magnet for extra dog and cat hair. I did the velcro option and added about 2 ounces of catnip from Target. Thank you so much. It was just like the video. My cat rolled around for about 10 min with the blanket, hopped on the bed, did a 1,000 yd stare for about five min then went to sleep! I intend to give this as a gift also.

I make a similar thing for craft shows. I had an older lady teach me, but she has added touches and has a different name for them.

I haven't, but I am sure you could! As long as your cat isn't going to try to rip the batting out lol

They can be washed, just remove the cat nip before hand.
