Wow. I have been struggling with the speed on our site for months now. Thanks for a clear informative and instructional video. Real good content. The only thing I would like to see more of is direct examples or maybe even a full video taking a website from "F" (10-30) to A (90+) Ps. went from 13 to 70+ in a day on GTmetrix. Works still in progress but still a huge boost (a huge thanks to WP-rocket for this)

I am using Hostinger Cloud hosting. But instead of using lightspeed caching, I am using WP rocket. I use wp rocket because I know how to setup as it's beginner-friendly. Should I move to lightspeed cache. Because after 1 month my wp rocket subscription will end. If WP Rocket is good to go then I will again renew it. Whats do you say? By the way great video. Subbed :)

If you are using remove unused css feature of wp rocket then don’t use the preload font feature as recommended by wprocket.

Tom, thank you so much for this video. I've been getting 404s and undefined elements showing in my GTmetrix waterfall and they are having the biggest impact on my site speed. They seem to stem from /et-fonts/ in the server hierarchy (which my guess would be from Elegant Themes) I've looked all over the internet for a solution, but can't find one. Do you have any information on this? It would be really appreciated. Thanks

I wouldn't need where to disable it without looking at your site. I ran your site through GTmetrix and it looks like you found it though?

Thank you for this video! You have mentioned tools like Asset Cleanup and PerfMatters to block unused code for being loaded. How can I find out which code is not being used? Many thanks in advance.

There's no simple answer for this. You just have to go through your pages/posts and disable things where they're not being used. Some plugins are probably obvious while other individual CSS/JS files require testing. If using Elementor, you can usually disable these files: onlinemediamasters.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Remove-Elementor-CSS-JavaScript.png

AWS is one of their cloud hosting providers. Unless you have something specific you need AWS for, I would personally go with something like DigitalOcean.

It depends on their data centers. You ideally want to choose a host who has a data center close to your visitors.

@@paulwelburnphotography DigitalOcean has a few data centers in the UK and is a solid choice. You can get it through Cloudways or through most cloud hosting providers.
