I love the actor who play Julius Ceasar he's so calm and cool just like the real life Julius Ceasar

This Caesar is so sassy, and has a commanding voice and presence. Imo the best Caesar on screen. You can see how much the actor enjoys playing it

Sean Pertwee, playing an unflustered Julius, was brilliant in this.

Caesar was a Legend, Hero of Rome and one who United Europe under one rule. =D Genius =D

This is actually what made the Roman Army the most well oiled machine that it became cause it was well trained equiped formidable and disciplined on the battlefield with possibly 50-60.000 strong legionaries and throughout history the legions achieved many achievements and not just building and securing italy for themselves but also on the front for facing many different ethnic groups throughout history but what made the legion truly the best is it's formation and structure on how it was built by Marius cause even if outnumbered by the enemy the legion stood and held its ground and formation and fought as one

@98bigbutt Well, what do you want them to speak? Latin? Well, Latin would be best but it is only spoken in the Vatican, and I don't think that even there it's very popular. Italian, which mich would be the obvious choice for some, also did not exist. And if they change the language to a Latin language (Spanish, Italian, Portuguese etc) they will have to subtitle everything, which just makes it a bit harder to watch.

What I hate about these miniseries is that why are they speaking English? The English didn't exist until the downfall of the Roman Empire (the Western part) in the 5th Century AD.
