The "exhaust" is specifically called "Back Blast" for all of the launchers. Realistically it should set you on fire and end up dead. They are I credibly dangerous to be behind irl.

We are wearing armor that can save the wearer from catching a rocket to the face a bit of back blast isnt as big a deal

@@killerhellhound "save" is a bit of a overstatement, more like "stop you from being horribly maimed, to less-horribly maimed" There is still the concussive force from both the projectile and back blast. Blunt Force Trauma is one of the most common battlefield injuries right after Hemorrhaging. Often what happens is the two combine into Internal Hemorrhaging.
