I bought the ONYX Vesper hubs and paid $695, built them up on the Boyd Carbon 36 rims with Sapin double butted spokes. Totally silent. That is so cool. Instant engagement. Less than 1 degree engagement is the thing you want on road wheels. They are so awesome I will never use another hub again.

Beautiful looking and sounding wheelset. I got NSW 353 along with DTSwiss EXP 180 hubs and Sapim CX-Ray spokes, pretty expensive but its been an experience to me really.

I just ordered a set of tubular disc 4550s with these hubs. They’re going to be stupid light. Rims are 340 grams each and the hubset is 215 grams.

the new tactic right now seems to be top tier, super light weight great engagment for the freehub, the front and rear hub of tactic are lighter then one hub of dt swiss, for the cheaper option I would go industry 9, they are bomb proof solid craft work and amazing performance

First, the design of the carbon wheel spokes/nipples and the hubs is not uncommon! Yes, they may be better quality but nothing to impress a buyer with that caliber of money! The freehub sound is totally garbage man !My first bike when I was kid with a paper hitting the spoke was way better !Excluding cost i would prefer something else !
