Actually hugging and kissing of siblings is natural it depends how your parents raise you like that and saying i love you, thank you,sorry and Good night so that it will not awkward.

Yeah in the other show the dad is very affectionate so people are surprised seeing the son being the same coz they believe in "Boys don't show physical affection"

It's actually weird for me when I see people reacting strangely to siblings being affectionate to each other. I'm close with my siblings so we hug and kiss each others' cheeks a lot. My brother would only say "I love you" on birthdays tho lol

I've notice Westerners shows their affection to parents or siblings but in Asian household very rare to find. Asian shows love in different ways.

I think it depends in personalities and just how you grew up. I know my oldest sister always makes a big thing going oooh I haven't seen you in such a long time hugs and kiss in a sort of cheesy way to tease but she does it every time lol even if it's only been a couple of days. While I personally am not one to do that but do respond by hugging and every once in a while initiate a hug by telling her she needs a hug lol that it's scientifically proven it improves mood lol. So I think it's normal between siblings in my opinion. But the greeting I think we just acknowledge each other by looking and just get straight to the point no small talk needed you've known them your whole life lol.

Same . I do the same thing with my younger siblings that ur oldest sister do😂. I hug them whenever I meet them in weeks and months And they are like Okay are u done now🙄.

the only affection i can possibly give my siblings.. is by being civil and acting as a friend. hugging or kissing is just ... blekh. totally feel din din on this

it depends on how our parents raise us...I was raised very close to my siblings...So I'm very effectionate with them. Some people might find it weird but I npt only show effection to my siblings but also my friends. I love to kiss and hug both my friends n siblings😅😅

Ah me and my brother were extremely close but didnt kiss lol. When he came back to surprise us by coming home from the military a month early i cried. He came and hugged me and kissed the top of my head. We were 5 years apart. It just depends on how you were raised. Our parents worked a lot and were rarely home so it was always us against everyone else. he died in 2017 tho. My life has never and will never be the same. Time doesnt heal all. Love you brother ❤

Mir & Go Eunha got "bashed" for doing skinship though they're siblings. Some siblings are really sweet to each other. It's not weird, but many find is cringey.

I was curious like Kang Seung Yoon as to why he didn’t acknowledge his sister. I think at least he could have said hello or something and let her know he was glad she came. She seems like a nice sister. At least the other members welcomed her.

Bcs it just how their family is I think, it just like my mom would welcome guest more warmly than when I and my bro go home on school vacation after one year in school dorm. Sometime my parent just nod or do some gesture to let me in. Idk how to explain this but some family is just like that.

I know there's siblings like that, super affectionate and all but I just can't with my siblings ugh, it's a mix of upbringing and personality (also your environment/individual life experiences) like, ...my siblings actually want to be affectionate with me and they want hugs from me and all that stuff but I be like ''never in a million years, do not touch me.'' lmao i hateeee ''skinship'' as they say, makes my skin crawl but it all just depends you know, even in context sometimes i could give a hug but i have to feel its necessary.

even my brothers(30s) still kiss and hug each other and say "love you", it really just depends but i do notice Asians aren't too into that kind of shiii
