After the dip in price of Cryptocurrency from a higher level, some traders and investors view this as an advantageous time to buy or add to an existing position, I'd advice family and friends to trade rather than holding, because buying and holding doesn't guarantee maximum profit.

It's surprising that people are so scared and discouraged by the sudden drop in value . Most Crypto traders and investors are less knowledgeable about the dynamic of Cryptocurrency . Well , it's a time to buy dip and connect with good traders that knows the Ins and outs of wall street wizardry. I'm much covered and secured about the market thanks to TRADE EXPERT FIDEL 😁✅

I grew all determinate this year because of space. Determinates are much easier to maintain and you can even time about when you'll have tomatoes. The bad thing for me personally is that there isn't a huge variety. You get red tomatoes that come in different sizes and shapes. Indeterminate has 1000's of varieties that come in many different colors, sizes and shapes. My favorite tomatoes of all time are Cherokee Purples and Black Cherries.

Try growing Darkstar. It is a determinate tomato plant but tastes just like Cherokee Purple! I grow it every year because of the amazing smokey acid flavor as well as it's disease resistance ❤

Its pretty hard to not want to grow those Big Dena's when you can see all that fruit piled up. It makes me anxious to see how the Big Dena grafted that I planted in my tunnel this year. They are monsters now. Another great video. I'm going to plant all but one row of Red Deuce if I ever get the dang thing built.

Great video! I decided to stop growing indeterminates because of the space required for them, the pruning (like you mentioned) and then waiting until August/September to harvest the tomatoes (We're in MA). This year I'm growing Red Robins and Tiny Tims.

I live in Wellfleet, MA on Cape Cod. I only have a garden that is 12x12 ft., and I plant 21 tomato plants in containers. I plant 30% determinates (7), 10% indeterminate cherry (2), 60% indeterminate heirlooms (12). The determinates give me fruit from July 1 to August 31st. The Indeterminates from Aug. 1st to Nov. 1st.. The Cherries throughout. Last year (2021) I had over 600 tomatoes. This balance gives me tomatoes consistently for four full months. If you want pictures I can provide them, and plant-by-plant fruit counts.

Determinates yield way more but do not have the flavor of heirloom indeterminates. I grow a mixture, but love my June Pinks, Cherokee purples, German Johnson's, and ox hearts. Use your high tunnels for determinates and grow your indeterminates in the field. In NC heirlooms are very desired and bring higher prices. I'll have to try Red Deuce next year. Thanks for the post

people also want variation, they like seeing and trying new things and you can sell for higher prices as a farmer. in germany we got one farmer that had 100 different strains, mostly indeterminates but in all colors, weights, forms you can think of. your customers will love it and are willed to pay more, because you cant get that tomatos at any supermarket. also you cant get the flavour... if you just want mass production like red deuce where you make your cut, thats also fine. but you can also produce less and just sell it higher price :)

As much as I love heirloom varieties it isn’t a safe crop to rely on. Nobody will buy them if they aren’t near perfect and it’s almost impossible to do that. We have to choose varieties that give us good disease resistance and yield unlike heirlooms or we lose money
@genequeen3000
@genequeen3000 3 жыл бұрын
@@joshh9090 I agree it shouldn't be your primary crop, I have had very good success and decent yields with Cherokee purple and June pink varieties for the past few years. The trick is consistent watering it seems to help them grow more uniform. I wish I knew how to attach some photos. Other heirlooms like German Johnson, Brandywine, and Mr Stripey I haven't had much success with yields or quality with those varieties.

In my experience heirloom tomatos are very unpredictable, all the elements have to be right to produce a nice looking tomato and a decent yield. The reality is that iam in business to make money and not just to please the eye. I need to utilize my space the best possible way to have a decent crop in a 3 to 4 month window here in texas. Red deuce is a winner for us also. Great video. Thanks

@Terry Scott. He has other videos that answer these questions. Pretty insightful like many of his videos. In a nutshell respect the age and cycle of the plant. Do not feed a steak to a baby, and make sure a pregnant woman is fed well. He did not use the latter example. Those are my words to convey the same message.

I can't keep the white core out of determinate plants. Jet setter does good early for 1st two plantings but the heat destroys the next 3 plantings. I go with big beef+ for my last 3 plantings. These 2 varieties cannot be beat for flavor. Determinates definitely yield better. Red deuce can't compare to big beef+ or jetsetter for flavor. Determinates are shorter therefore less trellising which is an advantage. I sell at a farmer's market so I have to go with my feedback.

I thought I’d try growing determinate tomatoes this year as well as indeterminate. I planted 16 determinate plants and although we have not yet harvested I am not all that impressed. I will stick to my indeterminate varieties as apart from removing suckers they are very easy to manage and produce well over the season.
