I did this with L.Jackson/Marc Andrews in 2021. It was awesome! Jackson got hurt and missed the rest of the year and dropped me to a 6th place finish, but Andrews was producing like Kelce out there!

Andrews value got inflated big time because that year because Huntley was hyper targeting him. Lamar doesn’t. People are drafting him way too early this year. Look at his stats last year with Lamar and literally no receivers. Didn’t do much. Had a couple big games. I’m not as high on him or Lamar this year as everyone else is. Lamar isn’t a good passer. And if he’s not going to run much(his words), his value is even lower.

Andrews going in Round 4 isn't expensive. You aren't paying Kelce prices and he outperforms the mid level TEs.

One of the stacks I was thinking could be a league winner might be the Amon Ra st. Brown and Jared Goff stack. Jared Goff if he has a nice year could be great value

2 years ago I had an 8 man, a 12 man, and a 16 man league. My 8 man was stacked and won, but my 12 and 16 I was the last in the playoffs barely over 500. I won both of those leagues as well. Not won since so I must have got extremely lucky💀

In a 2 QB league, drafted Olave in the 5th, got tua but wasn’t able to get tyreek or waddle, but waited and was able to get carr in the 11th round so hopefully that stack does good enough.

Got a bunch of stacks on my 10-team, 25-man roster, Superflex dynasty team: TLaw/Ridley Fields/DJM/Mooney Cousins/Jettas/Hock Watson/Njoku Also have: AJB, Swift/Penny, Saquon/Wan’Dale, Javonte/Sutton team stacks And then filling in the rest with: JT, Bateman, McBride and some other bench pieces…

Do you like stacking JHurts with DSmith at the 2/3 turn? With Goedert healthy AND seems like the RB situation dips off in the 4th and 5th round. I have the 1.02 and am likely going Chase.

I don't worry too much about Bye Weeks during the draft. You have to take Fantasy Footbal one week at a time and a lot can change quickly, You have plenty of time figure out what to do about Bye Weeks. It's obviously not ideal if half your team is on bye the same week, and I have seen that happen in my league just last year, but you can make moves way ahead of time if that's how the dust settles after the draft. I wouldn't avoid players you like just because of a bye week

Depends on the tournament format. If it's BBM4 I wouldn't take him but if it's a new one, the ADP is adjusted for everyone so no one gets him at that 10th round value

I personally lean diggs because he is the alpha in an offense with Josh Allen. He is the safest option. I think davante has the most potential but is scary. Ceedee is good but some weeks he disappears. (As a cowboys fan I know). AJB had around 1500 yards last season and is a solid option, but has to compete with smith goedert and now swift for production. They’re all great options. I would go Diggs, AJB, Davante, Lamb but really it’s personal preference

I’ve been stacking Anthony Richardson and Jelani Woods on my bench with the last few picks quite often. Long shot but they are both two huge guys that are super fast so I feel like that’s just a potential huge problem for teams. Woods was a former QB so could help Richardson along… lookin even better now with the JT drama

Personally, reaching is the best way. It’s a reach vs ADP, sure. But, it’s not a value reach because correlating hurts and Brown is more valuable than getting like tee Higgins at adp for example.

For what it's worth, I've been stacking for years, and I only play Bestball (ppr format) in various sportsbooks (mostly DKings). I will, generally, stack all my QBs w their WR and/or TE, and will have multiple stacks in each league (when I can). I will stack QB w RB when the RB typically catches a lot of passes (i.e. in the past-Drew Brees/Kamara, or present-Hebert/Eckler). I wouldn't do it w Chubb/Watson, for example.There's still a big luck factor, but I've won a lot of leagues this way. I would've won in both a $75k and a $400k tournament last year, but the Bills v Bengals game screwed me big time. Just my thoughts.

I have a 12 team non ppr league that starts 3 WRs, 2 RBs and 1 flex. I can keep two players: AJ Brown in 7th, Tyreek in 3rd, Hopkins in 6th, Hurts in 4th, Pollard in 5th, and Mattison in 7th. I think AJ is a lock as one keeper but undecided on second one. Thoughts?

"Your early picks can't win your fantasy season, but they can definitely lose it". JJeff is a PPR monster, young and healthy. Ekeler's ceiling is ludicrous but he's also risky. Better to secure reliable value early and swing for upside later than to risk it all with the first pick. IMO obviously.

I have a question. I have been in a12 team snake league for 25 years. We use 6 points for TD passes. It's a half point PPR. We also have a rule that anyone who was not drafted can be kept as their last draft pick. I have the number one pick. I think I am leaning toward Chase. Knowing these guys, the QB's will be gone quick. Since I have the first pick, I get three of the top 25 players. I want to draft Burrow, but I know he will not be available when I draft again. Chase, Best RB available and Burrow in round 3? Is that insane? Or Chase, best WR available and Mark Andrews. Because of the knowledge of the guys, I don't want to be stuck without a QB. By round 5, the top 7 QB's will be gone. I guess I could live with Trevor Lawrence? Thanks in advance.

Yeah, it’s awesome when you stack QB/WR and one of them gets hurt and kills the other guys value. Or when the QB has bad games and tanks the WR.

Mason I know you’re the expert but this strategy isn’t really for me, I’m not gonna reach for a player to stack when I can get a different player with better “perceived value”. I will say, I completely agree that stacking is good if it’s QB/TE stacking, as in order for a TE to perform they need to score a touchdown as most don’t get enough volume (outside Kelce).

Your strategy sounds awesome; however, Hurts and Brown/Smith were the ONLY QB/WR tandems that would’ve won last year!! Obviously Mahomes/Kelce was a TE combo that worked, but once again, only tandem that worked last year and if you drafted those 2 at their ADP, you missed out on stud RBs and WRs!! So that’s actually a VERY LOW strategy that worked last year!! Agree?
