I'm continuing with the Steam Achievements this week. They are going to get pretty interesting as I try and complete the last few. This could take me a few more episodes to complete them all.

You would be amazed at the number of people who only spin the numbers and down one or two times, giving you a much smaller number of combinations you must check. I would say those locks can be broken on average in less than 5 minutes.

You're right and there is a list published on the web of the most common 4 digit codes that I could try. What I've found in the past is that as a solo, the effort to break in is greater than the reward once you're inside. Thanks for watching!

DayZ achievements came out less than 2 years ago. Most DayZ players also play on community servers which don't qualify you to earn achievements.

You didn't range your weapon for the distance you need. If you're not going to range the weapon, you will need to manually raise your weapon the height it needs to be since the bullet drops. It seems you're still a bit new to DayZ in regards to long range sniping, so you might want to invest some time finding a range finder so you can get the correct range before you take your shot. Thanks for watching! yes I'm still quite the noob at this game. I've been searching for a range finder and haven't found one yet. They are so common most of the time but when you need one.... I've been looking for a better rifle and better scope too as you can't range the one I had in the video it's fixed at 100M. I'll get it one day and put that video up too!

So, I came for marksman lol. That's the achievement that took me the longest to get and I wanted to see how another player goes about getting it. I play on console so it's a bit tougher on long range. I'll definitely be watching the next one

i got that one by killed someone point blank with a whole pistol mag, in my first few hours of gameplay, no clue how

its kind of annoying when steam wants to give an achieve or not. I have a 1000m kill on a survivor on an official with a mosin but i dont have the marksman achieve. just like i have cooked everything on a stick but dont have the cooking one, or the firestarter one, etc etc. have over 1200 hours in DayZ but dont have the basic achieves even tho I have done them all many times over lol

A lot of DayZ players using DzSA launcher where achievements doesnt count

DaySA is just a server browser, it still opens the Steam game so I'm pretty sure the achievements still count. You can only get the achievements on official servers however and they only came out in version 1.0 so a lot of players would have already moved to community servers. Thanks for watching!

Yeah, more people have the sniper badge which suggests that most people are cheating.

Hey, thanks for watching! The sniper badge, which I believe is the Marksman badge, only has 0.6% so much rarer. I've been trying to get it for a couple of weeks and 300m is a lot further than I thought. I'll put out a video of it when I finally get it.

@@rucifail I've put 1000 hours into official and don't even have the sniper badge. Guess my memory fails me but the number that have started a fire seems way too low.

@@ATHFShakeZulah the firestarter is lighting a fire with a matchbox, a road flare and a hand drill. I had never started a fire with a road flare.
