Ruci, do you know if it's 'loot cycling' to hold up in one area (say a little town), and just make that your home (like prison island)? I mean, in a real apocalypse, I'd probably just hunker down here in my home and town.
@rucifail24 күн бұрын
I think loot cycling is more like when you pick up the items and throw them away so something else will spawn sooner. I once spent days looking for NBC pants and ended up loot cycling, it still took several more hours but I eventually go some. I agree, in a real apocalypse I'd probably just hunker down to start with, but what would we do when we get low on food? If you lived somewhere near natural fresh water and could fish, maybe you'd be OK.

Real life story, but related - my mother killed her first bear with a .270 rifle (one shot) when I was just a tiny boy, she was in her 20s... my step-dad was surprised by a bear, while hunting, came up out of an old cellar hole, back in the deep woods... he killed the bear with a .30-30, one shot... he had the rug for years. Definitely helpful... though cures, in practice, can be so much more difficult. Keeping a fire going attracts killers. Having enough food... finding disinfectants... finding clean bandages even... while searching for the things you need, more damage from zombies, players hunting you, etc. As I've said, never once found tetra, and very rarely find multivitamins. Disinfectant is more common, but on some run throughs, I've had very little luck finding it.
